Phil? You have seen the future???? Wow!!!!
Was Paula still playing bingo?
Have LIverpool won a football game?
Have they mended the Snowdon train?
Is Tinders still seeing double?
Has Ken worn out his Bob Dylan Christmas album?
Is Diane the Photographer of the Year?
Is Leonard having a well deserved rest?
Is anyone listening to Phil Spector's Christmas album?
Is Yorkshire still bordering with Derbyshire?
so many questions and so much time
Pete

You can bet I have seen the future . Take it from me there is only one of those questions that has the answer NO and I think we should let Ken have the first guess painful though it may be

it's always worth taking a photo of the look on a Yorkshireman's face whenever somebody quick and clever enough manages to leave him to pay the restaurant bill....if you look carefully you can see the rest of the gang hiding in the bushes.... ta ken

That receipt is now framed and hanging proudly at the side of my money belt with the title "A first time for everything "

Oh, Henning, you are the best!
This is just a short post since I've been meaning to write so much-quoting Paul Theroux and his great comments about Cadair Idrich (I'll leave out his mention of Barmouth and Port Merion as they are not very complimentary-but even great authors can be wrong).
Anne & I have just returned after taking my Mum to see Arlo Guthrie (this is appropriate since I managed to work in one of his father, Woody's songs,"Talking Dustbowl Blues" at the Pub in Barmouth). It was a great concert and I'll write more tomorrow on the "other music" page, but wanted to share that since my 92 year old Mum loved it so much and she is scheduled to see Leonard early next month-look out-Leonard better be on top of his game! Arlo had all kinds of children and grandchildren and around him on stage (from Woody's song-"scattered wives and children' all over the side of that mountain"). He is still a master. It was great for cheering me up as I learned today that I need eye surgery that may impact going to see Leonard in Chicago & Nashville. More on that later.
I just love reading this thread over and over as more gets added to it-what a great time in our life.
Joe

When it comes to spending money I will stop at nothing !

If my logic serves me correct then the following applies.
Person A, for example, has a limit to his/her spending of, say, £100. When he/she has spent £100 he/she then stops spending.
Person B, for example, has a limit of £50 and stops spending when he/she has spent £50
Person C has a limit of £10 and stops spending when reaching that limit
Now, person P, for example, stops at nothing so when spending has reached £0 then
HE stops.
