Why have you all gone silent all of a sudden?

Not sure what to say if we have to wait another year and not one of the fortunate ones to see L in the near future. Thats depressing!

We are the lucky ones! We were at the Saturday Lissadell concert and we are off to the Sydney concert on the 8th November. We will miss the Irish audience - they were just wonderful.

You are most definately the lucky one since you have MET Leonard. Maybe I'll meet him in Katowice...... Or maybe here in Ireland next year.......

Hi jd,

I think unfortunately "real life" has returned for most of us....work, kids, spouses etc.... But I know my heart remains in Lissadell, and my memories of Sligo will be forever in my mind. Until the next time I return to Ireland to add more memories!

Each day I come back to this thread for a bit, simply to read new comments and remember the wonderful concerts, and all the warm and special people I spent time with in Dublin and Sligo...both old and new friends!

Those pictures are (here it comes Ken) AWESOME! Thanks soooooooo very much for getting them up here - what a thrill for me. It's much appreciated!!! My primary allegiance will always be to this forum - where it all started. I love it when photos are posted on the forum and all the links to facebook and gallery photos (clever people). I remember when so many people said they finally got the nerve to put up pics of themselves on the 75th LC birthday poster thread. We finally were able to connect faces to names. That gives us the opportunity to 'know' who the person is when they post. So everyone, keep them coming! And thank you in advance from me.
