hydriot,
Sounds like a fun challenging walk!
Not sure what I'll be doing next summer but if I can manage Hydra again
I'll definately do the hike.

Hi,
I wish You All Happy New Year 2007!
Thank you all for the woderful times in Berlin and Dublin.
I am in!
First I'll stay 2 days/nights in Athens 4.-6. June and then I'll go to Hydra on Wednesday 6. and leave on Monday 11. June. This part of the journey have allready been arranged! The hotel on Hydra is still open.
I need to see Acropolis and some muceums first at Athens, I missed them last time. If there happens to be any friends at the time at the Town, it would be nice to have company for the city tour. I'll stay in Aristoteles hotel near Omonia Square.
Waiting for the next summer. To hike to the lighthouse is a huge challenge to me, if possible at all. Anyway, This is my new year promise to improve my physical condition for that.
Best wishes
Sinikka

Megan and I will have to pull out of Hydra can't get the time off work as my boss is off and we can't be off at the same time. Never rains but it pours!!!

Hi Sinikka ~
I will likely hang back with you at the harbour, if you like... and decide not to try the hike. I have more years to live with my knees than I have anything to prove with a hike. Since my last visit on Hydra was pretty immobile, I'd rather have mobility for the less extensive stuff. If the hike is your final goal, however, I wish you great conditioning between now and then.
[I've only just seen these last two postings, yours and Paula's.]

Hi Paula

~
To say I'm disappointed with this news is an understatement of mega[n] proportion. Though I can understand, particularly with all the time off you've already had, I will really REALLY miss you both on Hydra.
Love,
Lizzy

I know what you mean, Tom... of all the weeks available in the year, just ONE would have worked for Paula, had her boss moved over just a tad. Paula ~ you really could have used your time on Hydra. I hope the time you take off [earlier or later] will be exactly to your liking.
Love,
Lizzy

I am just beginning to think it may be possible for me to attend the Hydra 2007 event. However, I would have to leave by Saturday morning the 9th. Will there be people there earlier in the week?

I now see that I would have to leave Hydra on the night of the 8th in order to catch a flight out of Athens on the 9th. So I am tentatively thinking of being on Hydra the 4th through 8th. When was the hike being planned for?--Tom

That would be great Tom ! We are arriving on the 6th so there will be enough time to have the mysterious Mythos together.

OK, Tom in that case we are there also on June 4.
Maybe we have some Mythos left for Henning.

Dear Wijbe--That's very good news and may be the last encouragement I need to make the reservations. Thank you.
