You are saying, then, that Critic2 sometimes makes irrelevant comments. Why do you think this is so? Is it an occasional lack of social intelligence, the sporadic surfacing of a subconscious desire to insult - or just periodical incompetence at harmonic human interaction?
Geoffers, you are such a bad boy! Good Shabbos everyone yes even to the Tuxedoed Stirrer. Martine, I told you he would be easy!!

One more thing, Geoffers, my desire to insult is entirely conscious, you naughty ninny nitwit.

Compared to your intrigueing options, the real reason is just so bland. I feel that most of his suggestions really would improve the poems, but sometimes, I really like the original word choices, lines, or whatever better ~ particularly when the poet explains their reasoning. [Ho-hum  .]

yes, I was thinking about that subject after you mentioned you liked the cigarette ash thingy, and at first I thought "she must be joking!" but soon accepted that was just a matter of taste and there is no principle involved nor any poetry technical point.

I quite enjoy Geoffers' writing, even if it falls a long way short of his own valuation. "sporadic surfacing of a subconscious desire"- rhythm and clever repetition of "s" and "d". He has a fine feel for language.

Where he fails is in the gratuitous insults he offers other posters. My crits. are on the merits as I see them. The style may be a little harsh sometimes for this forum because although it is a poetry forum by name it is more a meeting place for LC fans who like poetry. The style of my crits. is standard for real poetry forums and by no means harsh.

However, whereas I normally thank someone for posting and select for mention (if humanly possible) lines I like, I dislike the sort of comment Snow wrote about another poster "Hungry Zoltan, that ghoulash-eating butcher of the English language".

That was an example of Geoffer's ego being unable to overcome a compulsion to show off, and at the expense of Zoltan.

And he spelt "goulash" incorrectly, so poor poor show all round.

Snow never spells anything wrongly. It was a play on words, you ghoulish fellow. I am tempted to say that a sorry-looking coot like you should be tied naked to a tree with your goolies dangling over the entrance to a woodpecker's nest, two litres of honey squirted up your back-end from a bicycle pump and a swarm of angry bees let loose between your legs. I am tempted to add that afterwards you should be made to stand in a bucket of quick-drying cement with your manhood glued to the back of a train while someone waves a green flag and blows a whistle. But I won't because Jarkko has said that it's not allowed to be abusive to people in here.
Kind regards -
Ann
and I hope your suggestion of "bees" was also a play on words, meaning the mighty Barnet soccer team of course. and right now they probably are angry after losing again yesterday.

as I said before, Ann, I love your loyalty to Geoffers even when he is being a nasty shit to people like Zoltan. yours is a wonderful Net romance indeed. keep it up (as you perhaps have to say to Geoffers).
