My wish would be that he is working on a book and will have one out soon. As nice as it would be to see him in some type of concert, and a new album would also be great, my first choice is a book. I hope he is putting his wise thoughts on paper, I loved reading his interviews (were the interviewer let him speak instead of giving their opinion) when Ten New Songs first came out. He has so much to tell us

According to informations we are getting from Jarkko, LC is working as usual, every day, on new book, and new album he announced in some TNS interviews... But every Leonard's book was about 2-3 years beyond announced date (Book Of Longing was Spring 2002!), and usually 3rd version was printed! I think that's happening again:-) And album, of course, cannot be made in a year, it needs 3-4 years... At least that we can got new live compilation, as promised...

I dunno about all that sitting around in "silence". I think I would like LC to talk to me.

Dear Leonard,

Pawns are very silent.

When we do speak we only say, "Check"or "Checkmate."

Depending upon the situation.

Yours in Silence,
A Lowly Pawn

LP - this is me not being able to see for looking. I always thought you were a prawn again christian and you were a PAWN. Bob Dylan wrote a song for you or it could have been your brother.

Dear Leonard,

I know that you know that pawns are not prawns.

Please write a song for me.

Sincerely,
L. Pawn

Hi LP - I am now concerned I might be dyslecis dyislexic dislexis dyslexic

Not only did I think you were a PRAWN I also thought you were a LONELY one. In one fell swoop I have altered your persona to a friendless crustacean from a humble puppet.

I am so sorry. Am I the only one on this board who is from another Planet?

To: Lowly Pawn--Pawns are little and cute but remember that Leonard likes to play chess with people so try to be a person, not just little and cute.

Dear Leonard,

Pay no attention to Lightning.
Pawns are not little and cute.
Pawns are little and warlike -- with regal tendencies.
I am indignant.

Ferociously yours,
Lowly Pawn

But "love is not some victory march." (Hallelujah). It must be difficult to be a war toy at this precarious point in history.
