I believe that it is an impossibility for one person to have both of those traits: one is either "normal", or they are "perfect". Being "perfect" is a very rare condition, not at all normal, putting one most definitely at the far end of one of cohenadmirer's inverted U-curves.Geoffrey wrote: i just wish i could be like you two, so normal and perfect - must be real nice
Speaking as one who is perfect (but certainly not normal), it is actually a curse, not "nice" at all. A perfect person must become adept at exercising great patience with all of the imperfect people they meet at every turn. They are constantly faced with the exasperation of being reminded of how superior they are through the obvious shortcomings of others, but, being perfectly kind in addition to every other perfection, they cannot openly express their frustration. Thus, the perfect person must smile and nod as if they thoroughly understand how someone else can be so wrong and inadequate, faking solidarity with the lesser beings with whom they must interact.
Count yourself lucky if you are amongst the imperfect!
