But, as you can see from my subsequent post, I think that we may dislike them for different reasons! That is, however, of no concern to me.
Not sure how you arrived at this conclusion, either, Lisa. But that doesn't matter, either.

Why do I find it so amusing that Lisa has been told by lizzy that she doesn't understand her posts but has praised herself often enough for understanding Geoffrey's posts. You couldn't make it up ;-)
I guess it all started for me sometime around Christmas 1967 and now, goodness me, it's.........2018 and over fifty years later.
No one ever listens to me. I might as well be a Leonard Cohen record.

i don't think it's very nice for leonard to constantly be in someone's shadow at number 2. he's had to go through his whole life having some cleverdick triumphantly waltzing in front of him. no wonder he drinks those 'red needles' all the time. cruel world. imagine how humiliating it must be; he is a proud and good-natured gentleman, even older than that moody minnesota minstrel. seems unfair to me, gross miscarriage of justice. he's the subordinate sidekick tonto, never the lone ranger. robin, never batman. dr watson, never sherlock. after all his labour, his excellent work, it looks like poor leonard is destined to go down in history as a mere footnote to bob dylan. i often wonder what leonard thinks of him . . . deep down i mean.
