Tonight was even better than last night if that is possible...intense and passionate.
Everyone seemed to be having a good time on stage and the audience was very responsive. I did not want the evening to end as it felt so intimate. I believe the concert went past curfew or at least much longer than the night before.
Famous Blue Raincoat, Lover,Lover,Lover, If it be your will and Save the last dance for me were played.
This wonderful couple in the first row started dancing together during Closing Time... the smiles from the stage and Leonard were beautiful.
Tonight holds memories I will treasure for a lifetime.
Thank you once again Leonard and the band.

@drewbeck Leonard Cohen takes a bow http://vine.co/v/bHZaPdwuetU
@thechloeroth I can't help it. Leonard Cohen is my hero. @ Paramount Theatre http://instagr.am/p/WbQFBKm1aO/
@oneunionmom Leonard Cohen at the Paramount in Oakland tonight - beautiful music & poetry. Just gorgeous.
@pahlkadot Leonard Cohen is 78 but man, does he still have it. Unbelievable
@jeffrosier you think you are prepared to see Leonard Cohen but you cannot imagine the level of pathos & grace that he embodies until you experience it
@teaoranges Show started at 8pm, 20-ish minute intermission, and the third (!) encore didn't end until quarter to midnight. Outstanding.
@oneunionmom Leonard Cohen was so great. Everything about the show was gorgeous - Leonard, his backup musicians even the lighting . . .
@DeirdreS Leonard Cohen sang a number of lines about being old and near death, but he looked like he was having far too much fun to be leaving soon.
@vanessajreid I don't have anything but incoherent joy-noises to say about the Leonard Cohen concert, but it was real great. Possibly the real greatest.
@cdsmukler Wow. Best music event of the decade. #leonardcohen #oakland paramount theater https://twitter.com/cdsmukler/status/30 ... 88/photo/1
@JaschaHoffman A Leonard Cohen concert is like a four-hour bubble bath for your heart.
@mybackseat Never have I ever experience so much class, style, music, music and poetry in one package, thank you Leonard Cohen!

Great video - lots of big rugs on the stage . I suppose it might make kneeling slightly easier

First off I would like to thank Steve from the UK for setting up the meet up a Luka's Sat night. It was nice to meet with a group of fans who are passionate about Leonard's work.

My wife and I are (we're) Leonard nubi's. before the Saturday night's concert we purchased tickets for Sunday night as well.
We stayed in San Francisco and took BART straight to the beautiful Paramount. About 2 blocks away was Ike's Lair, a great little sandwich shop with a cute, young, 20ish girl named Segal who took my order. She described Leonard as a "God". We had a good laugh and I shared that he seems to attract women of all ages. My wife says Leonard's is the best s-e-x music ever. I don't disagree. At 60 I will take whatever help I can get and rest in the fact that it possible to still be sexy at any age. I want to be like Leonard when I grow up.

Saturday night was amazing. "Dance me" is my favorite song and he opened with that. Every song after that just kept getting better and better.

Leonard makes very little eye contact with the audience, which I think, adds mistique and passion of the song. When he is on his knees, face down ... it's as if he's re-living his past and we are all voyers to the experience. I also like the way he throws total focus on his unbelievable band. Throughout the show Leonard highlights each member.

Sunday night was totally awesome. "Bird on a wire" was captivating and set the bar for the rest of the night. Leonard promises to give 100 percent and delivers many times more. The crowd was eating out of his hand and after the 3 rd encore ended the show with a heart felt "Save the Last Dance for Me" ... and that was after "Closing Time" and "I Tried to leave you"

What a great show!

I am loving these reviews! Can't wait for my turn. :D
Maulmaniacs--my husband and I were 'newbies' at the beginning of the 2012 tour. I know exactly how you feel. Seeing Leonard live for the first time is such a moving experience. You did a great job of putting it into words!
