Las Vegas Meetups for Dec 10/11

I will be arriving on 8th December, leaving on 13th, going to both concerts. Staying witha friend, would enjoy going to any meet ups, etc. Really enjoyed the ones in Sligo, would be great to see everyone again.

Nice to see a number of the Sligo meetup participants will be in Vegas. I missed the Sligo meetups, so I am looking forward to finally meeting members that were in Sligo in Vegas

We (Dick and Linda) are arriving on the 8th and staying till Monday. Don't have hotel booked yet, but would be interested in attending whatever gatherings can be arranged. Much looking forward to reconnecting with many old friends, and making some new ones!

Just found this new thread so my previous question about everyone's arrival dates have now been answered. I am planning to arrive Thursday afternoon so please include me in any arrangements for drinks and dinner throughout.

Who's up for a family-friendly daytime meetup in Las Vegas? We'll be there with young children and will probably run back to the room right after each concert so that the sitter can get some sleep, but would still love to meet you all at some point in the morning of Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday (perhaps we should make it late morning so that we don't lose all of the previous night's party goers?)

Breakfasts, brunches, and cappucinos or lattes in the bright sun of day would be great!!! If we don't have a huge response, I'm sure there are enough of us who want to check out the "family" side of things who would love to share time with you, and the family contingent from Spokane

Also, not to worry, our babysitter is not a LC fan, so she will be perfectly happy sitting it out. Next time she visits us I'll be sure to hide the CDs just to make sure that she does not become a fan!

Yes! We, the Spokane bunch, would love to be included! Friday, Saturday or Sunday morning would all be fine for us. Normally, 9am to 11am is nap time for our youngest, so we'd favor late morning or lunchtime. But, whatever works best for everyone!

**Edit: I'm not sure what is available at Caesar's Palace, but tigerm's suggestion of a buffet might be good?

I have started a list of forum members who said they are coming to Vegas for one or both shows--As of today, there are 84--I'm sure there will be more before this weekend, when I plan to post what I have so far. Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Certainly, many of us will be meeting in smaller groups throughout the weekend, eating and drinking; however, if we have 200+ it would be great to have one large get together, maybe also inviting the band, Joey, and other important figures!!! Too soon to tell. Check back Saturday for update ( I have 100 essays to grade before then)

I'm going to and taping both nights. Hopefully there's another crowd of quiet folks at these next two Las Vegas shows as there was at the last Vegas show. I recorded that one, and gave it to a few folks (I'm all about giving out the shows, not selling them by the way.) Hoping to get decent recordings out of these next shows. Leonard was just amazing last time. I can't wait. I'm in 1STMZ5, row B, both nights. I'd love to meet up prior to the show.
