Jeff,

Just because of the way ticket sales are being handled there, you expat LC fans should not deprive yourself of thrill of seeing the man in concert. There were many instances of previous sales that entailed confusion and 'unfairness'. The end result was always the joy of being at any given concert. Hope all goes well, and LC fans are afforded the opportunity to get wonderful seats - you never know.....

Best regards,
Mary

Personally, I plan on going come hell or high water and if the number of availablle seats is now down to 600 that still may be plenty enough for his fans locally.

But I can understand others' reactions. You have to understand that this is an extremely political event. The two charities which benefit from the concert are the two primary charities associated with Cambodia's prime minister and his wife, whose regime is one of the most corrupt and "uncharitable" in the region, thus when the vast majority of tickets mysteriously disappear into "VIP" and phantom presale hands it leaves many with great discomfort.

I'm through carrying on about this and will look forward to snatching up my tickets in a couple weeks.

According to a recent email from AEG, we may have a member presale to Phnom Penh before the tickets go on general sale.
Details to follow if and when it happens.

Jarkko,

It would be wonderful if this happened for Jeff and the other expats in the area!
