Question # 1 /
Regarding attendance of Leonard at pre-concert meet-up in Sligo ,
I don't think it has happened anywhere during this tour :( .
Leonard may be aware that he is invited to attend at the Garavouge, but :!: ...... :o .
(I'm told he regulary reads posts on this Forum ).
I do know that members of the Band have attended several meet-ups and met fans :D .
Question # 2 /
It is not a good idea to say where Leonard might be staying during his time in Ireland,
With a grueling travel / concert schedule Leonard needs to reserve much his engery for his Concerts. As fans we should respect his privacy and act as his "energy-protectors" . Any meeting with him would be via a somehow, somewhere, sometime serendipitous encounter, just keep hopefully walking and looking throughout Sligo during that weekend, who knows  .
There was a good case put forward for this on another thread "Stage Door Pass", here is extract of answer to a similar question from "lizzytysh"...

Hi J ~

Welcome to the Forum with your wish that so many of us share. Leonard's schedule is so full and his attention to his work so divine that his concerts are marked by all that his particular level of focus entails. Long practice sessions, details perfected, time alone, performance, and rest. He just doesn't go the route of fan interaction, anymore. When he meets people, he gives too much in spite of himself and his own needs, so the most effective way to manage that is to not interact with fans on any basis other than serendipity.

If you should run into him somewhere, he'll be cordial, autograph, speak or converse with you a bit, and allow a photo or two. You can come here and blithely mention it or outright brag. We'll be happy for you and either share our own experiences or continue to hope for the same one day. I wish you the best toward a chance encounter with Leonard; however, the backstage passes just aren't items that fans are given. Enjoy the heck out of him while he's onstage, though .
. ;-)

PLEASE READ :
Here is another informative extract from "lizzytysh" on this Forum last April. (Stage Door Pass)
It is worthwhile reproducing here for "all" Cohenites everywhere.
With these grueling tour schedules, and as spelled out by Robert Kory's comment, it all needs to be by serendipity now, and I'm confident that Leonard has his energy protectors looking out for him there, too; or if you by luck meet up with him one-on-one somewhere, Leonard is self-protective enough to be able to extract himself and move on, and with such grace that his exiting won't be awkward for the other person. I'm sure he hopes that when people ask if they may have just a moment with him, that they'll be considerate, circumspect, and self-disciplined enough to keep it at that. With his going to all these wonderful places, I'm sure that no one who loves Leonard as all of us do would want him to be held hostage in his hotel room through fear of running into ardorous fans. He deserves to maintain his freedom of movement.

I did mention that I heard Leonard regularly checks out this Forum, :)

I believe that he too has a "forum nom de plume" and is sometimes inspired to engage with us and sit in for a chat :!:
.............so be careful out there,

one never knows , you could be listening to or debating with himself !

To set the record straight, as much I would love to talk with Leonard (actually, no, I'd be terrified!), I have NOT been chatting with him lately! Trust me on this one!!

Thanks carlowmike for giving me credit for "inside" information, but it's not QUITE that far "inside" ;-)

Besides "I hope you run into him, you who have been travelling so long"

Yes - I was told on good authority that Leonard checks into this Forum daily and indeed has been known to interact anonymously with Forum members - commenting on rumours when tempted, exchanging opinions or advising on items.
One thing for certain is that Jarrako is on very good terms with Leonard .

So, cyberically we are pretty close to Leonard one way or the other.
BTY--Hi Leonard, we are all looking forward to your concerts in Ireland, Peace, Ron.

How interesting. I wouldn't be at all surprised.

So, I know this is on the wrong thread but - Leonard, if you are reading this (whoever you may be! ) PLEASE PLEASE take pity on us & return to the UK just once more.

Just want to confirm Leonard is not staying with me in the cloverhill area of Sligo during his stay in our great county but if you have time a visit to the metalitic tombs at carrowmore is a must for some peace and tranquility.

Hi folks

Just back from a quick 24 hour visit to Sligo and it is looking good! Benbulben, one of Sligo’s most famous landmarks stood proudly in the background welcoming us as we approached the town on a sunny Tuesday morning. For a couple of hours in the afternoon a light mist descended on the mountain clouding the view a little but cleared away later. Speaking of weather, whilst we are all dreaming of balmy summer evenings for Leonard’s concerts do bear in mind that the venue is just a stones throw from Sligo Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Poetic as this may sound when evening descends on Lissadell do expect a cool Atlantic breeze to follow and take an extra layer of clothing with you. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!

Whilst chatting to a few of the good denizens of the area I detected a huge air of anticipation, excitement and perhaps most of all pride that Leonard has chosen Lissadell as his venue in Ireland. Already proud of the W B Yeats connection with Sligo (Yeats drew a lot of inspiration from and claimed no place influenced him more than Sligo and he chose Drumcliff at the foot of Benbulben as his final resting place), the fact that Leonard as a true Yeats follower chose Lissadell has them bursting at the seams with pride.

If you are visiting Yeats grave at any stage I suggest you drop in for a coffee at the Drumcliff Tea House & Craftshop (right beside the grave). It is run by a lovely lady by the name of Jill and she has one or two anecdotes of her own relating to WB!

We had our evening meal in Hargadons. This is a typical old style Irish pub serving a great pint of Guinness and good food at reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly too. By the way there would appear to be no shortage of good eateries in Sligo. Hope to visit more of them when we return at the end of the month and will post reviews.

Keith McNair is busy putting final touches to shuttle bus arrangements etc. Whilst there will be parking at the venue, they are encouraging people to use the shuttle bus service as Lissadell is located in a rural area and the less traffic congesting the country roads the better.

I will be keeping in touch with Keith and will pass any useful information he gives me on to you.... :D Frances
