Am I correct that the prices for the front blocks A B and C are not actually listed?

The VIP Tickets listed at 475 zloty are actually in Blocks H and J which is the second row of blocks back.

So presumably if we are successfull in the front Blocks A B (Central) or C they will be at a higher yet to be disclosed price?

Front row tickets for circa 115 Euros are a steal by normal Cohen Concert prices so this cannot be right?

Or have I missed something as I work late in the office?

March is shaping up as a busy month for me - Thailand - Lille - Strasbourg - Borussia Dormund - South Africa but I am inclined to head east as Poland is a nice country - but likely cold in march!

Hi again, Casterbridgecohen! Actually the seats in sectors A, B and C (yellow sectors) are only 300,00 zt's! I'm still awaiting the answer from the venue as to why. It's not standing room, as they have little tiny seats on their seating plan. So, I'm still aiming for front row centre!! Perhaps the sports arena is a hockey rink in the winter (like the HP Pavilion in San Jose) but maybe they don't cover the ice and if you sit in those rows you have to either slide or skate to your seat!! But front row centre would be very lovely....and I can bundle up!

Well...I do HAVE to agree with Ken. Why is 90% of the footage shot in the dark? However, I don't care! If I can figure out a way to get there, it will be wonderful to share time with friends...and to see Lc and and band!!! I still have this feeling that they may do Krakow the night after Katowice...bam, bam. Don't ask me why..there is certainly no insider info going on here...just a feeling. Krakow is so close and such a gorgeous city. Perhaps in that case, everyone will stay in Krakow but simply bus back and forth to Katowice. Then, maybe, 2 nights later, Warsaw?

Thanks though, Albert, for the videos (even with the Polish rap ). There is actually one gorgeous hotel in Katowice which I'm trying to remember the name of...the Monopol? Definitely the place to stay!

Why - no I haven't ken.

This will be the second worst pick of the venue in Poland after Torwar in Warsaw.
The area is industrial and polluted, I was there once and felt like in another country, one I wouldn't like to live in. Definitely for hard-core fans only.

Regarding the city, while I don't like Katowice either, it's not some kind of nighmare town from a horror movie like some members pictured it

It's not pretty(especially architecture-wise) and there isn't much to see if you're a tourist, but there are some nice pubs in the area and you can definitely have a nice time in a good company.

About the pollution, it's not that polluted these days, no more than any big european city, so no biohazard suit required

And yes, Krakow is 1h away by car/bus, if you wish to stay there.

I have probably missed out on this one - I was travelling from 12.30 pm yesterday afternoon(!) and have only just got back on line. I've sent an e-mail off but as you all got in before me I don't have high hopes of getting a decent seat allocated. I will console myself with the thought that I am probably not missing much (thanks Ken et al!)

What makes you think there will be a concert in Krakow Diana? MInd you, I cannot for the life of me see how I can get to any concerts during the week so it's probably academic as far as I am concerned.

lol...I have NO idea where that is coming from in my head, but if I were arranging this tour ( ), I probably would have skipped Katowice completely and done a couple of nights in Krakow and a couple in Warsaw, as Poland has a ton of LC fans! My comments are simply right off the top of my head! Just wish we could get more than one concert at a time announced as this is so hard to plan ahead.

I don't think there is anyone who's got their tickets already. (At least I haven't yet) They promised answer within 24 hours but that can mean workdays as there's no reply yet. Good luck for all of us

Whether it is anticipated more cities in Poland ?

Many friends in Poland have emailed me asking about other concerts in the country. I don't know!! The tour itinerary is still in progress.
The tour was supposed to leave Europe after Moscow (and make its way to the South).

Personally speaking, I was hoping that LC would return to the Sala Kongresowa in Warsaw, 25 years after the famous concert (see

Jarkko,every one of four 1985 Leonard`s concerts in Poland was famous,
21.03.1985 LC was in Zabrze and 25 years after he will return to Katowice,
just a few kilometres from Zabrze.
Just I realized,what`s an anniversary !

Looks like Sala Kongresowa was not available on any of the convenient days - it was booked to other concerts on March 20, 21, 22, and 23.
