Remote1, I didn't think you were calling me crazy, and actually it wouldn't bother me at all if you did - you wouldn't be the first one! I thought you were saying I called myself crazy (now how crazy is that!), or claimed to be in some altered state - either way, I wasn't offended, I was just clarifying; I don't even claim to exactly know what those terms mean. . .

By the way, it also occurred to me that even if Leonard didn't have knowledge of Buddhist texts before he wrote his early songs, it's possible that he came to an understanding of those concepts on his own, without having previously read the literature - that happens sometimes - and that would be, perhaps, even more interesting.

Anyway, I'm not claiming that my interpretations are the "right" ones either, I'm just making suggestions and, like you, just love the conversation. . . We all need each other, and we need each others' offerings, otherwise there would be no conversation, so I am grateful to you and everyone else.

Sorry if I misinterpreted anything, or implied something negative - didn't mean to do that; I love your posts and your perspectives, you are very witty & adorable, please keep it coming!

Hey Holydove, Sounds like we're on the same wavelength. Busy tonight so can't write much but thanks for the compliments; I'm touched.
