Thank you Jarkko for the promise of the seats! If you need anyone to translate from Canadian to American or vice versa, I will volunteer!

Sometimes even though it may be English, not everyone south of the border quite understands.

Jeremek --- it is to early to speculate what is happening after legs 3 & 4, and no decision will be made in the near future, so we have to wait patiently!

My humble opinion is that it will not be possible because there simply is no time, if the DVD is supposed to come in March! Getting OK from all parties involved (like Sony) for the official translations of the song lyrics is a long and multiphase project.

Of course, Jarkko.
You are right.
It is too early. But maybe you have any hunches ? Can ever hear such words: about still ... I need hope

Hi Jarkko, I also think this is great news.
As far as L coming to the USA, will you be emailing the members about the availability of tickets, or will we have to keep checking this forum, or ??? (PS. I'm so excited).

Jarkko, whilst it will be wonderful to have whole concert on DVD, could we ask the producers to add songs as out-takes to the DVD that I don't think Leonard sang at the O2 in July but that were in the Fall tour ie Famous Blue Raincoat, The Partisan, Avalanche, Chelsea Hotel, Waiting for the Miracle? I know that seems a little greedy maybe but it is worth asking!

Ron: we keep the schedules updated here on the Forum & at the LC Files, unfortunately we don't have any email lists.
So it will be best to check the updates quite often. Santa Claus may come early this year??
It is possible that we will get an allocation of good seats for our members, but everything is open for the time being.
The Pacific leg of the tour comes first!
Slownight: the DVD that will be released in March will have the whole O2 gig, but no out-takes from other concerts.
However, I don't think you need to worry about the other songs.

this is the best news! I'm so happy! I saw him in Rotterdam, it was amazing. Is there anyone who knows if there'll be a dvd with the titel "the aviator" from LC on it's way? The guy at the musicstore told me it was, but i can't find proof of this anywhere

Will this DVD be region free, PAL or NTSC or will it be issued for both and region specific?

Answering my own question, if it will be playable in Canada, then it will be playable in the States, and I don't think they will overlook Canada, tho' the US has been ignored.

The project is on hold, and we cannot expect to get the next batch in the near future.
... too bad. I was really looking forward to NEW SKIN, DOALM, and RECENT SONGS.

I suppose that the NEW album will not be released till autumn/winter 09 and that will probably come out before the digi remasters

I'm quoting myself from another thread:
I believe the new studio album has to be on hold as long as the tour continues. There is simply no time for another very demanding project.
