WoW....not at all the way I took it, yet still applicable, somehow. As you already well know, a kayak, by its nature, can take you safely through some pretty rough waters. A very interesting coming together of people, backgrounds, and emergent "futures" [already past]. It seems your placement in Hospice was pre-ordained, as well. That had to be a very precious time for you, a way of giving back so much of what had been to you. It also sounds like your means of worship now is all that you need. You're well-practiced in other [past] ways, and have certainly retained the best of those, as well.
