And do NOT buy from scalper websites (they sell tickets that have not yet been issued, at much higher prices - 2 x face value or so - and then they hope to buy from official seller when the tickets go on sale!!)
The official seller will be one of your local big ticket sellers!

You are absolutely right Dear Jarkko!
I'm from Wroclaw, Poland and continue checking every day all the Wroclaw official ticket sellers.
Until today none of them hasn't any info about 29th of September Hala Orbita Leonard's concert.
I'll keep the checking and of course will post here any reliable news I get.
By this occiasion I'd like to thank you Dear Jarkko from all my heart for your great Leonardcohenfiles site, for this fantastic community you have gathered here as well as for everything you have been doing for years for your Cohenities.
All good things to you !!!
Marta

I know that it can be strange question. I live here, but I don't have no knowledge of Warsaw and Wrocław. Nobody is able to answer, why there is no sale of tickets in Poland. Jarkko, you certainly know, why ?
From the new list tickets are already selling all countries. Apart from Poland.
Can you reveal the cause ? Does it mean, that concerts in Poland are still uncertain?
with the greeting

Two concerts in Warsaw (Oct 1 and 2) and Wroclaw (Sept 29) are still listed in the tour schedule
I received on Friday from AEG Live in London, however without ticketing info. I will ask them
again on Monday. Indeed it's strange that tickets to some of the first concerts of the Fall tour
are not yet available.

hey all -
Crossing my fingers for this to happen! Don't skup Poland...
A question for the locals: between Warsaw and Wroclaw, which venue is smallest and more intimate? Are the venues as big as we're used to? I keep hoping they'll chose somewhere small..
thanx

Both venues are sports stadia (indoors) and have a fairly hefty capacity - Hala Orbita in Wroclaw is firstly a basketball centre, and seats around 4,000. Warsaw's Torwar is bigger - close to 5,000 seats, and is used for ice hockey, music, etc.
I suspect we all feel the same - that the Sala Kongresowa in Warsaw would be everyone's choice, but its relative small size when compared to the others is a block for the management. I saw Tom Waits there some years ago, and it was almost as good as Leonard in Manchester - well, pretty damn good anyway!

hey Jeremy -
If I remember correctly, the Kongresowa offers a bit more then 3,000 seats, not including the "secret" ones.
It would be a tremendous venue, these big basketball venues are not the place for Cohen's kind of concert...
Maybe someone will hear us (:

Hi Augusta - by "secret ones" I guess you mean the little seats that fold out into the aisle - never seen them anywhere else!
Yes we can hope......

HI !
In part rightness. But is 02WORLD in Berlin, like with not a sports hall ? And so it on the way was already more...And what you will call the concert in the open air ? I assure that it was fantastically.
A lot of good for You !

The information about the Polish concerts seems to be conflicting. According to some local sources in Wroclaw, the Polish promoter has stepped aside and the concert will not happen. I have added a "Not confirmed" note to the Polish dates in the tour itinerary, and will keep you updated.- AEG Live will be checking what's going on in Poland.

Anything can happen in Poland, it's an "Alice in Wonderland" kind of country, I woudln't be surprised if the concerts won't happen at all, but there are equal chances that another local promoter will take over --of course this is what' I'm hoping for-- and change the venue to the proper one (== Kongresowa).
I've been always a dreamer
