Ripping Records will be open from about 9.15, they say they normally open about 9.30 so it may be worth you while starting an hour later at work, don't go down at 9 cause they won't be open according to the boy who answered the phone!

Thanks for the info, I was considering phoning myself to be sure. I'm not sure whether to venture down tommorow morning or just take my chances with TM online. Do you know if they have actual tickets or will it just be taking payment and giving you a reciept to collect them at a later date?

I just rang Tickets Scotland and they are getting tickets for Edinburgh Castle tomorrow, priced at £54.
If you can't make it to their shops, you can book over the phone on 0870 220 1116.
See http://www.tickets-scotland.com/ for details.

I have just phoned Ticketmaster re their priority line. You pay £20 for a year & they give you a different phone number & a membership number. They said phone calls to this number are given priority over normal line, although it doesn't guarantee that you will get tickets (Phone 08705344444)

Cheers for the info everyone, I'm still not sure whether or not to head down. Are TS likely to have a decent selection of seats available? Or will Ticketmaster have grabbed all the good ones? I dont fancy treking down if they only have crappy seats. :?
I really should learn to be more decisive!

Has anyone else seen this from Worldticketshop?
Leonard Cohen
Date: 16-07-2008 Start: 19.30
Castle Esplanade, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
Seated Tickets Category 1
Price: € 245,00 (£ 178,85)
Shipping total: € 30,00 (£ 21,90)
Total: € 275,00 (£ 200,75)

Now I'm desperate to get a ticket, I've registered with Ticketmaster and Tickets Scotland, by e-mail and text - but who are these people kidding £200.75!!!
Tickets Scotland site seems to be selling unreserved tickets tonight, but I have vertigo so can't risk ending up with a ticket for seats on the cantilevered stands. So see you in Argylle Street nice and early tomorrow morning.

I wouldn't touch that with a stick if I were you, no matter how desperate. I've heard of people getting ripped off big time by the people behind that place, they've been shut down before but just re-open under a different name. Most of the time they dont actually have tickets.
