I think so ...

a thought provoking 6 word poem with strong images.

thanks, Cate.

I am finding the thought, poem, of ocean and Whale
refreshing and cleansing and slowly expansive.
I did write other lines/verses, but they polluted the original thought; so I returned to that image of ocean and Whale.
In the realms of G~d(s), there are too many Whales and not enough ocean

Thanks again for "being there with me" on that clifftop. ;-)

Thanks, Mat for reviving this old thread!
It made me read again the second of only two poems that I've ever written :)
I still miss my rusty, old and beautiful Brumby :(

Have always loved that first song! The link to the second one doesn't work at my end.

Here is the link that delivers the song!
...a Leonardean-Warnean spiritual canticle...
...or simply two free-spirited souls, on the edge of being...

This one is for you and your "old Brumby", B4. :)

Thank you, Mat!
You know, I’ve just noticed a happenstance equine connection here!
What are the odds you would post that original “horse” song which would lead me to re-read my “horse” poem :)
Seems at this moment we have juxtaposed an absent mare, a runaway horse and an abandoned brumby ;-)
In all three cases, for whatever reason, you could say they have, or are in the process of “Moving On” and that is the title of my poem. And coincidentally again, it’s also the same title as a poem and a song of LC's which was published 7 and 8 years respectively after my poem was written and posted. Ha! I have to say that’s where the comparison ends – I am no poet! But it is interesting; all these unexpected connections!
