Jarkko - am grateful that you are keeping us up-to-date on where you (and we) stand. Now it is not imperative for us to stay glued to our screens and constantly hitting 'refresh' (until tomorrow that is  ).

Warmest regards,
Mary

Sorry to derail from the big (non) News here, but this is more than a little patronizing. Everyone is a hero in their own way.

..."And you KNOW somethin' is happenin' here
But you don't know what it is,
Do you, Mr Jones...?"

B Dylan (1965)

An artiste whose followers would never be treated like this.
One month to go, and we still don't know if the tour is on/off/postponed/abandoned/reduced/expanded.
Sincere prayers that it is not the worst possible news, that Leonard is ill.
But let us know!! This is crazy...

now if you were a Peter Doherty fan,(as I am) this wouldn't annoy you one bit. A months notice would be a luxury for a PD fan. :D

That's funny, confetti. Mr. Doherty's Royal Albert Hall fiasco costed me quite a few thousand dollars and a two-week trip to the UK and France that ended on the day Pete was released from jail. And still I was on my flight back to the UK when the concert was rescheduled. I'm not saying that anybody should be following my (stupid) example, but let's just all have a bit of patience. The bigger picture is that we are a bit spoilt and what's important is not whether the concerts would go on, but if everything is actually well.

I eventually made it to the rescheduled date at RAH and, to be honest, never regretted the experience. The day when he was arrested seven days before my first flight out of Canada was quite memorable though.

I gave Pete a copy of Let Us Compare Mythologies - now, it's anybody's guess if he actually opened it :)

If this is a serious matter, e.g. health problems, we will all understand. Above anything else, we hope Leonard is well. However, if this is some kind of big business / media game, there will be a lot of angry , disappointed, and much poorer fans out there, less willing to commit to concerts in the future ! :?

Hoping all is well with Leonard and wishing him the best of health. I think we all have to remember nothing is written in stone and although we don't know what is causing this announcement and possible postponement of concerts or whatever is going on....and it is unfortunate for those who bought flights etc...there was the postponement due to rain in Red Rocks and some of us went there and paid expensive airfares and ended up not seeing Leonard (speaking of myself, Kelsey, Greg, and many more) and those in Valencia..so things do happen unfortunately..
But we have been so blessed to have the tour going on in 2010 and it sounds like the ...more!... message from Jarkko
means there will be more concerts...
So I too am waiting waiting for this announcement and hoping for the best possible scenerio!

Now that's odd, because I had a weird dream some time ago. I dreamt that Leonard came out of retirement, went on tour for two years to universal acclaim, and even wrote some new songs ...

Oh, hang on a moment -- that wasn't a dream, was it?

Only if you feel your life is a dream, Hydriot... which might be a bit worrying... or too philosophic for me. ;-)
