Darling,

Apparently your moose has led a life of debauchery 8) :? . Now he's just an empty shell of a moose. Even the strings on his violin are gone! Despite it all, he appears to be 'the happiest moose in the whole USA' . What kind of lesson are we sending Fred  ?

Best regards,
Mary

Our Darling Moose is a work of art... the more you look at him, the more you realize it. Such a phenomenal smile 8) and bright eyes :D . Such character in his limbs :) ... he's very animated and alive :D .

You're right, Mary, what kind of example is this to set?? "After the show is over, and the long and winding road is gone, you too can be happy. Don't put down your violin, Fred... come play the strings that still can twing, and I'll even get me one." Oh, dear.

Hey Fred!

I heard the audience had a great time in Winnipeg! Did you have fun in Minneapolis? Enjoy Chicago and Detroit! Don't forget to send your mother a picture from time to time. Hope darling's moose didn't scare you  . It's okay, as he seems to be a jolly sort of fellow :? . Hold on to your cuddly moose friend. He will comfort you.

Loving regards,
Mother Mary

See? The ugly guy always gets blamed for everything. :(

But I understand your motherly love, Mary. It must have been very difficult for you to let your little one go even with such a great bunch, but you knew he had to live his own life. What a great exemple of selflessness (does it really take that many 's' ?) you are.

Let's just say darling, that your moose has lived a life of many experiences  . His true personality comes through in his smile. He and Fred could be great friends, as long as your moose does not lead him on a wayward path  . I have faith that Fred's new friends will keep him on the straight and narrow, especially at his tender age   .

Hydriot! You've got it :D !

But you're in the wrong line if you want some of that that's for the so-called unlovable.

Sorry for not checking in for a few days, but as you can see, I was getting some rest in Minneapolis. Sometimes the internet service is not very good and I can't download photos. I do have some more photos and another game for you. Now let me see if the internet gods will smile upon me!

I went on a road trip to this little town near Minneapolis yesterday to help a member of the band with something very close to their heart. What town was it? What is the thing that is close to the band member's heart? Who is the band member? And no, I am not talking about the well made boots and shoes that are made in this town, although one member of the traveling party did purchase a new pair of boots (just like the one pictured).

Hello Fred!

After a quick trip to Wikipedia  here are some guesses:
- You're in Burnsville
- The band member is a big hockey fan (I figured that when you showed up prostrate at The Great One's feet in Calgary and with a Canucks flag in Vancouver!) and we're in the Playoffs
- He went to Dick's Sporting Goods at the Burnsville Centre Mall to pick up a Detroit Red Wings hockey jersey (Maybe the 2009 edition with the old English 'D' on the front?)
- Is Dino the hockey fan?

Be careful on the ice Fred, wear knee pads and a helmet.

....and here I was looking for a link based on my thinking that you were in the hometown of the place described here as "a daunting specter for generations of incorrigible Minnesota youth (that) has served as a particularly powerful disciplinary hammer for parents and local authorities"....made famous outside Minnesota by Bob Dylan in this song.....if no connection there, I do believe one band member has a Minnesotan wife....
