...and lately I have a hankering for the banjo

me too
btw merton, I have been playing 'Love Is Strange' by Jackson Browne album a lot, thanks to you - I think we have similar tastes in music - besides Leonard of course
At the moment but, I have been favouring ALL the songs on 'Blood On The Tracks' by Bob Dylan - I particularly LOVE 'Idiot Wind'

Diane that's a beautiful song from Neil Young. I do hope he'll tour over here again when I am able to go and see him!

It seems like I'm not the only Neil Young / Leonard Cohen fan. Right now I'm listening to Neil's Live At Massey Hall from 1971. Ever since I heard Johnny Cash do Pocahontas and Heart Of Gold, I've been wondering what Neil's songs sung by Leonard would sound like

Got back from seeing Leonard in Helsinki and received free tickets to see Paolo Nutini last night (being recorded for BBC Radio 2 tomorrow night) Great night, good selection from both albums, These Streets and Sunny Side Up (today's in car album)

Mike Edwards, eccentric cellist with ELO in their early days, died a few days ago in a horrible freak accident. May he rest in peace. Been listening to tracks from Eldorado on youtube (never replaced it on cd)
