Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members
The Oakland presale was sold out in about 10 minutes. I got two tickets pretty early after 10am, but they're not very good seats -- in the 31st row from the front, out of 38 rows, at $100 each ($116 including fees).
At a few seconds after 10am, I asked for balcony seats and there were none -- so I guess no balcony seats were offered for this presale. That was a bit frustrating since the web site was offering ticket prices that were not available. I selected the third price $129.50 since I didn't want to pay $251 or $176, but there were no 129.50 tickets. So on the third try I asked for any price tickets and best seats and only got these seats 4/5ths of the way back.
Well, at least I got tickets. A couple of minutes later there weren't any seats available.

P.S. For anyone who failed to get Oakland tickets today, the Ticketmaster site says "American Express" tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am and "Internet Presales" go on sale the next day (Feb 27) at 10am. It says sales to general public start on March 2.

I don't see a presale link for the show on April 10th in Los Angeles. How can I get fan club tickets?

Re: The North American Tour & Presale for members: TICKET GLITCH
Just wanted to save any non-Americans the pain of trying to book presale tix for an american show - YOU CAN'T DO IT!
After an hour talking to different service reps at Ticketmaster this morning, we found that Canadians (or anyone not having a US billing address for their credit card) can't buy tix because the WILL CALL ticket delivery option only allows US residents to submit their billing info and progress to purchasing tix - non-US customers can't complete the online form, and they WON'T let you do it by phone - we tried
.
The only option for us sweet Canadians is to wait til the public sale March 2nd when TM will open it to international buyers, and TM did say there will be alot of variety in available seats for the public sale. Ahhhhh Leonard, love it when you play hard to get...

re: ticketmaster- just remember not ALL venues are being serviced by TM- some of os- like in Philadelphia - are being serviced by a different ticketing agency- and orders may be possible for non US residents .

Thank you for the info. I managed to figure it all out and got tickets for the center balcony.
We are very excited to go. This is my fiance and my wedding gift to each other -laughs-
I floated into work this morning and have been singing Leonard ever since.

If you try the Amex card, call them first. I found out last night that only a Gold Card would have worked, and it would take 5-7 days to get one, even on a rush order. Good luck!rgendron wrote:I missed the tickets in Calgary (by a couple of minutes!) but will try the Best Buy presale. I'm half tempted to get an American Express Card tooIf anyone has any other ideas that would be welcome

Hooray! Success in Vancouver (with a ticket in the 'alcohol permitted'' zone) - doesn't get much better. I lost a few rows because my hands were shaking so badly thinking I'd miss out - there were only l09 tix left when I got to all the mucking about. If I hadn't listened to all those complaining about the $ 600. tix, which is VIP, I would have been online a tad sooner and would have got a better seat -I sure can't complain - all's well.
And that....is the rest of story.
The prices for VIP 'were' misleading. It made it sound as though all the tix were that costly.

Help! I've been to the ticketmaster site for the Oakland Paramount show several times this morning -- no dice. I keep getting a response that says no tickets available. How can this be?

Yes you can. I live in Windsor and bought pre-sale tickets for the Detroit show.
