I guess that I should write something to "save my honour" after YdF epitheths about my delicious persona. First it is too hot and humid even for breathing right now. When you wrote this, I had the feeling that I will had to shake hands with Edward Scissorhands who would not know he can shop me in little peaces by doing so. I feel more comfortable with people who are well aware of the razor blame sides of their personality. Could be so useful in times, these aspects.

I have been trying to get through this thread but have been unable to, so forgive me if this is redundant.

One can give power of attorney for many things, for instance our CPA has a POA to file for extensions on our behalf. My daughter's doctor has POA to request any medical records form previous doctors. My sister had a much farther reaching POA for my mother when she became unable to sign her own name.

While Mr. Cohen was on Mt. Baldy he was not easily reachable, while there were phones in the main office and in his cabin he spent much of his time either meditating or in the kitchen. I would guess that he gave someone the power to act on his behalf during his time on the mountain and he trusted Kelley.

I did some research and found no reports of a SWAT team being called to arrest Ms. Lynch , in fact they are not called in LA except when there is an armed and extremely dangerous suspect. I don't think a tiny woman in a bathing suit fits that description.

You not being able to get through this thread is pretty understandable. I saw this thread open, was away for a week or two and now, I too, am lost in the details, innuendo and overall speculation.

I had a hard time visualizing a small woman in a bathing suit being taken away by big men in combat gear, as well.

I think it's human nature to be curious about those that we admire, but curiousity has its limits. I think this thread has reached those limits and travelled beyond, into the land of fantasy vs fact.

Thanks ~Greg. I've been watching the Google Alerts for quite a while now, and this one is probably still unopened in my inbox. I just skimmed the article, but it seems like most of the info has been implied or somehow made its way to this forum.

Isn't Macklem the name of the PR extension of his management firm? Macklem/Feldman? I'll have to re-read the article to see if this Macklem woman is involved in Macklem/Feldman.

What a position for him to be in at his age. Finally, something with more meat than we've been seeing/hearing as of late. Still, it's not over yet, and I just hope he can salvage some security for his later years.

What a disapointment. As has been mentioned before, this could take years to settle, with no guarantee of success on his part. Very unfortunate.
Very sad to have to jump start ones career while just about to retire. At the very least, he doesn't sound as thought he's emotionally crushed, but it has to hurt. Macleans is a magazine that is everywhere in Canada. I can get a copy of that without problem. Jeez, what a mess.
