Mary, I see how this can be worrying, but Fred and his friends have proven to be very reliable so far. I'm sure Fred will be online soon and let us all know what he's up to. (Is it too early to say that he is getting to be a grown Monkey and it's time to cut the cord? )

Me and "The Great One"! I will not claim to have a lot of knowledge of hockey but I do know that Wayne Gretzky scored more (894 times) than any other player in history. What does that have to me? Long stem roses, a box of chocolates, a poem or two ... hmm?

Good to see you getting out and about, seeing the sights etc. It looks like you're standing on your own two feet today.
I don't know much about hockey either, but we have a game here in Ireland called hurling. It's a bit like hockey, but much faster and tougher . Maybe some of your Irish fans will bring you a game when you come here in the Summer. (If your Mom let's you of course.)
Keep on rockin'. I suppose they'll be movin you tomorrow to another "town" down the track

I'm sure they do! Maple syrup might even be their favourite Canadian speciality... Not sure whether it is good for them, though!

Lizzy, I will have to find out whether the Cologne monkey is male or female before we consider introducing him / her to Fred!

Haha. Yes, not sure what the laws are on gay marriage between monkeys in Canada/Germany. They may be one of the animal world where whatever goes, though, so... it may be moot. It seems they remain fairly hetero, even so, but not really sure.

I'm not sure about maple syrup. It seems like some homemade oughta be alright, though, doesn't... just everything in moderation .

Oh, geez, yes, Darling. I really fell in love with Quebec City. Thanks for your comments... I'm glad you appreciated it. Even at the time, I couldn't believe how much I loved it. The French language is so beautiful and to just be surrounded by it... plus all the other facets of Quebec City and even getting there, as I drove to get there. If you get a chance to go, do it... you could always mention my name if they have an office of tourism. They won't have a clue, of course, but hey, you never know... perhaps, if they ever need someone for online, they'll be open to it .

So many choices for photos of Fred. I'm anxious to see what his caretakers settle on for one.

Uh-oh, seems Fred's time with the band and crew is changing our little monkey boy. All those Frederika monkeys better watch out, Fred is learning I'm Your Monkey (or maybe other Fred monkeys need to be on guard, not that there's anything wrong with that). I am glad to see Fred wasn't star struck at the feet of The Great One. That's probably because he is in the company of Great Ones every day. Thanks to the Fred caregivers for giving Fred and us the ride of our lives.

As a matter of fact, I often drive through there since it is only 3 hours from here and on my way to Montreal. It is always very interesting to see a place you know through someone else's eyes especially when they are as enthousiastic as you. Next time(May 21st ) I will try to picture you running the streets as a flower girl.

A very nice way to get there is to take the ferry from Levis which is right on the other side. You then get a great view of the old city and the Chateau Frontenac.

I'll make sure to mention your name if I go by the tourist office, no problem...

Hopefully, the weather will get nicer by May 21st otherwise the monkey will want to take the next flight to Florida.
