Casey at least come and grab a chicken leg to wander with – you’re all skin and bones – how will you pull out a chair for the next person who comes, if you in that shape. You do realize Uncle Casey that there is not one of us here, who does not wish this table big enough to seat the world – I think we’ll have to settle on it being big enough for all who choose to come for now – well, there might be a few -some people can’t stand to eat in groups.

Hi Manna, It kind of makes sense – but just kinda. Greg mentioned Cantor - I briefly looked up his set theory in Wikipedia – but I don’t get – I might have a better look later. Basically I think he has a way of counting – I’m not sure how you would do that though because the set is infinite – so really how could there be more of one than the other – I know there is – it makes sense and doesn’t make sense.

I was wondering if the calculations change at all if the soldier-points are based on a regular but non-square packing scheme. I don't think it would be different, or much different, but I don't know how to show that either

Last time I sat at the table you're talking about was 1969 - when I found out it was really the Incredible Shrinking Table.

There is an infinity of numbers between 0 and 1, but the infinity of numbers between 0 and 100 is bigger. Of course, it would take forever to count them all, or maybe only half that long.

Oh lovely, let us continue the glorious stutter of speaking with others' words rather than our own. It is often the mode of this thread, and it is a lovely shroud we use to confess our lives. Though honestly, I'm never sure if I am the one being addressed. Covering myself doesn't mean I am not enjoying the world. I don't have to enjoy and embrace the world in the same way as anyone else. I was just pondering the fact that the sun controls the wind and that the moon controls the tides.

The Moon is in love with the Earth and the Earth is in love with the Sun, therefore the Sun wins.

Of the three, the Earth is the one where I can live. So it wins me. Other than that, the three are part of the same suff, and they all three need each other in order to maintain the cosmic homeostasis. What is most important to me - my food, my skin or my hands? Without any one of hem, I would be very different.

You're right of course, all three necessary and all three are from the same. I thought the question though was - who was more powerful the moon or the sun?
