I don't know if you have noticed but I see you live in Australia. I went there 2 years ago and stayed in a hotel just 10 minutes by pogo-stick from a big sea, there were trees nearby and cars often drove along the road. It was jolly nice. Do you live near there?

I don't know if you noticed while you were here but it is a BIG island. I live 5 minutes by pogo-stick from a bay on the south eastern tip of the island. Although, to be honest, I've given up the pogo stick and travel instead on a scooter with my dogs pulling me.

Are you in today? If so, would you please accept this as our formal request for photo inclusion in the Gallery of the Beautiful Losers. While we have expended considerable effort to conclude a piece that smacks not one iota of frivolity on this great site, we know some may think us unworthy. But the fact remains that we have given M_One a short run for his money which, by the way, he has neglected to pay us. He claims diminished responsibility and swears that he needs to replace his red bra first. This, in spite of constant reminder statements personally delivered by the Chi-G.

Our hope is that you will treat us with greater kindness. But failing that, we can arrange for immediate shipment of 24 cases of Mythos to an address of your choice if that would help.

Do you think it might be nice to include our finished work under our picture? We do.

Seasons concurs. Only Jarkko could resist such a beautifully composed and written petition.

My only additional suggestion is that as soon as Chi-G returns, the Goddesses and I meet at the Gate of Olympus to engage in a brief, but powerful, moment of prayer and supplication on behalf of the petition. If you take a moment and think back, you'll recall that it worked in that particularly difficult circumstance we encountered in 758 BE [Before Eternity] with Zetlid, Zeus's brother. Old family issues between them precluded Zeus's intercession, so we simply took to the sky. My feeling is that, once again, it's worth a try.

The top of the 9th would be a brilliant position for us to hold... a deliriously happy home run to Zeus, by four enthralled Goddesses and one Seasons, would assure Him and all the doubters that we had our bases covered.

That would have been Byron Bay. A posh place for people with more money than sense. It's why my ancestors sold it to the local developers of high quality art prints to be displayed in Galleries around the world and other places. My ancestors didn't own the land, but they were astute enough to flog it to some twits with even more money than sense, although those twits sold parcels of the land for even more money to even more people with more money than sense.

There's always something happening in the Middle East that we don't know about. Everywhere else in the world, too. There may or may not be any connection to the flights of these planes, however. If we end up hearing even more on the radio, we'll know that you knew about it first. It seems you would want to post this in the Muffins thread, but maybe you did; I just haven't been there yet. Going now.

Hello Jimbo and damellon I am well into my favourite Sunday here (a cold but sunny one), going for a drive to meet friends for lunch soon. I am picturing you both in quiet darkness, maybe listening to Leonard, maybe fallen asleep.

Ah Blonde Madonna - I was thinking of you and your favourite day earlier. Everything OK? Was listening to Lenny earlier but now it's Jacqueline du Pre - her cello playing makes me want to be a better person. No word from Jimbo.....ships passing in the night etc. Goddesses relaxing, for a few days I think. Seasons still vigilant tho' relieved of gate duty. Enjoy the rest of your day. Any decision on Dylan yet, since he's put on a second concert? So he listened to my suggestion!
