I don't know what others think of this but it disgusts me. To think these people took Leonard's time to sign stuff and are now trying to make easy money from it. That is a vile and makes my skin crawl. A couple of people have asked me to part with some of the stuff Leonard signed for me and I refused point blank. I'm not being selfish (well maybe I am) but each of the items means something to me and Leonard signed them for me. I didn't even ask him to sign all of them as the purpose they were there was to keep the page for Hallelujah lyrics quick to hand though I know it is pg 56 but Leonard being Leonard did sign them all and they are now treasured items even more so than before. Even if I was completely broke it wouldn't be an option to sell them. Personally I'd never want an autograph meant for someone else. It just doesn't sit right with me and is fake. But unfortunately this is a fact of life. I also detest ticket touts and how they exploit fans for large sums of money. I've being lucky enough that I've always managed to secure tickets the honest way for concerts when I knew they were going. Sometimes like when Leonard played Ireland in 2008 I found out too late but I'd never never never buy from a tout. I was devastated at missing those Dublin shows but I just accepted I was too late and that was it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert on 11 December. Everything was spot on and Leonard and company did indeed give it their all.
I found it interesting to see how much the performance has evolved over the course of the tour. My impression of this concert is that less is more, far more subtle changes in arrangement have led to a spectacular result.

Las Vegas is such a profane unmagical place. For three and a half hours or so one small corner of it became sacred.

The next morning’s chance encounter with Leonard was something Carrie and I will cherish.

Totally agree with you're less is more comment. I love how there are no gimmicks and the beautiful simplicity of the set. Was grateful that my crew members letter was Bruce Rodgers the set designer. All we need is Leonard and his wonderful band. As for the arrangements on the songs: SUBLIME!

Perfect! I'd viewed from FB but for those not on FB, great photos but one I absolutely adore as it captures one unique moment and captures everything Leonard is about.

Hi John, I agree with Arlene and Tinderella in regards to you and Carrie meeting Leonard.
I think these chance encounters are the best. It goes to show that good things can happen
when you least expect them.
I was in Vegas too and thought the concerts were superb, especially the very last one. Leonard
was on fire and so was the audience. We were all so lucky to be there!

Sincerely,

Marsha

Well said I am behind you there 100% I too have a signed photo from Leonard which I would NEVER sell or anything by Leonard Cohen no matter how desperate I was, I always remember wehn I went to the Lincoln Convention UK in 1998 and a woman wanted to buy my 'Let Us Compare Mythologies' Book I taold her NO WAY not even for £1 million! I only took it to show a few forum friends as it was very rare back then and hard to get a copy of it! in hindsight maybe I was crazy taking it with me but the point is I'd never sell anything of LC my LC collection is mine and mine only! so I applaud you on what you say:)
I have been a Leonard Cohen fan for 28 years feel free to email me if you wish to keep in touch!

Indeed we were. From the start I felt an amazing energy that I only felt at Lissadell. Sublime performance that only Leonard and his band can do.

Thank you Philip, glad I'm not alone here. I know some people don't agree with how I met Leonard but I will truly cherish that moment forever. I really can't contemplate how anyone could abuse such an encounter in such a way. It really does disgust me that these shallow people exist.
