Dublin 11.12.13 ?

I think the first post in this thread started by johnos is correct and it has been both Dublin concerts all along! As scocoh has recently stated and I concur, “never two without three” refers to the two shows being combined into a third show. A couple of extra clues from Jarkko confirm that for me as well.
He said: “It is from one venue only”....I read, not from one concert only, meaning two different concerts at the same place .... and he also said: “Yes, though it is a bit edited between the songs!”.....I think maybe because of the very enthusiastic Dublin audience, although it would have been wonderful to have been there!

I don't think Jarkko has hinted (stated) which continent or which year the DVD will be from.
You are assuming Europe 2013, but Leonard and UHTC also played North America, and there were many concerts during 2012, including multiple shows at several venues.

IF you are correct re Dublin Sept 2013, in my opinion you have made a serious error of omission.
How could you have overlooked the incredible version of "Anyhow" with the altered lyrics?
I'm sure it was just an oversight on your behalf and if Dublin Sept 2013 is in fact the source of the discs, I hope Sony can fit in "Anyhow".

Looks like I am going to buy my 2nd BluRay disc sometime this year!

You are right that there is no mention of which continent. I did also include above two North American cities and a UK one as well for 2013. But yes, it could well be from previous years. I did consider that but didn’t act upon it. That could in fact be the case and it could still be Dublin but in 2012 September 11,12,14,15 with four concerts to choose from! The 2013 set list above is not an oversight because “Anyhow” is from the concert on 15th Sept 2012 and it’s from a different venue (IMMA) to the 2013 ones (O2), because remember, Jarkko said: “it is from one venue only” and I don’t think all those 2012 Dublin concerts fit the criteria of “Never Two With Three” – I’m guessing meaning only using two concerts to make a third one. Or maybe they’ll choose two of the four of them to make a third!

I did consider these but just for the record, here are some more two concerts (ignoring multiples) at the same venue in 2012:

London, Sept 8 & 9
Austin, October 31 & Nov 1
Montreal, Nov 28 & 29

I tend to agree with you, Alan, although this may be a hint: "all the progress between 2008 and 2013" (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=34422#p338854). No choice of a venue was made then, but probably they have already made a decision about 2013 for some reason (finally got a proper quality recording?).

Ah there is so much excitement in the anticipation of a new release. Can't wait to hear something official soon!

I think it will be Dublin because there was only a short break and the PA asked us to take our seats quickly as the show was being recorded. Also, the concert went on about 15 minutes longer than normal. My bet is Dublin suppklemented by songs not performed on that night as bonus extras.

I hope we get the Webb Sisters doing Coming Back To You as well on the DVD, was a real highlight for me.

Hi Tom We're doing pretty good. It's been a strange year, but overall not bad. Hope you and yours are well.

We'll be doing better when we get this CD/DVD. Can't wait to see the "new" sound with Alex etc on a professionally produced set.
