I'm finally going to admit that I am a secret Dino fan. Have you checked out this beautiful photo of him on the Belfast concert report thread?

And it's about Dinogone time, Mary !!

I remember reading a comment by Dino that they called Leonard, "Pops" and that LC was the same age as his father. I thought of this when I viewed Albert Noonan's gorgeous Lisbon video of Famous Blue Raincoat. I noticed a very charming moment between LC and Dino. When Dino finished his solo on the mouth harp, Leonard's head was bowed. The audience gave DIno very enthuiastic applause. Leonard waited for a while, then raised his eyes and with a huge smile of pride looked at Dino as if to say, "Son, you did well."

While trying to find Leonard in Dublin, I had the good fortune to meet Dino.... and he is a great guy and what a musician! He was on his way to the embassy as he had run out of pages in his passport and said he may not be able to leave Ireland. I offered to put him up in my house if he couldn't

Wow! Great photo of you and Dino! Obviously he made it out of Ireland, but it was SO above and beyond the call of duty for you to offer to take him home with you...what a burden that would have been....

I must be getting bolder as i am getting older . I ran to the stage in Dublin to get the set list and when i was walking away from the stage, Rafael came through the curtains and i just called his name, grabbed his hand and asked him for a kiss .............. he obliged!!

I have met everyone in the band now expect Javier and of course Mr Cohen. If that happens in Barcelona, I can die a happy woman ( but not for a long while yet hopefully)

Tinderella....I think you may have given some of us women ideas for Las Vegas and/or San Jose....

Listen ladies, you gotta grab all the chances you get in this life ok? You will have an amazing time anyway but I will be looking forward to seeing your photos with maybe Leonard or the band members, so go to it!

When Dino posted this Tweet from Tel Aviv mentioning "Pops", it reminded me of a tender photo that Joey Carenza, Tour Road Manager (usually stands on Charlie's right during Whither Thy Goest) had posted on his Flickr page earlier this year.

Thanks for bringing this thread up to the top.

'Where, where is my Dino tonight?' Is he still in Coln (per his twitter)? Sharon was in LA (per her twitter). Wish there was an audio of her radio interview. Is there and I missed it? And why hasn't Joey posted anymore photos since Palma? I hope they are all having a good rest and a wonderful time wherever any of them are.

I am really going to miss Dino when the tour finally ends. I have almost reached the stage where I would travel to the ends of the earth to see him performing on his "instruments of wind". He is an amazing as well as entertaining musician and he has certainly added a certain je ne sais quoi to each show. But you are so right about Rafael Diana! When I saw him coming out of my hotel in Nimes, I didn't register who it was immediately - I was too busy feasting my eyes.... Only then did I twig that the band were staying in the same hotel as I was!

Agree with you totally about Dino! I am SO impressed with his musical ability and do plan on checking out any possible concerts or gigs he may have next year....either in the LA area, or wherever! Ditto with Roscoe. Actually everyone associated with Leonard on this tour is an amazing stand-alone talent, and by all of them coming together at this moment in time they have made the concert tour transcendent. Leonard may be the "sun", but the "stars" surrounding him shine as brightly!

ps..Mary, I think Dino may have found love in Deutschland And Joey's iPhone probably disintegrated from overuse...he has to have set some sort of record!
