Byron
I'm segged if I know that it was mine. I was on a low dose at the time although I was aware that Liz had been seggingly quiet all the way to Chester. Maybe it's hers?
We don't tend to talk about these things now, the voices tell me to keep a low seg.

This thread has convinced me that I'm growing old (and bitter?).

Not only don't I understand the language used but I can't think of what it relates to. Help!?!

JTS (I'm almost in agreement with Partisan but nothing on this site could be classed as smeg)

JTS it is not too late. Step back from the brink. Sit down. Take a deep breath. Agreeing with me is not good for your health.

Tysh Darling please try using a dictionary when reading this board, you may then learn what the word 'brink' means. In any case you are once again ascribing meanings to others. They can speak for themselves, even itinerant sheep-shagging welshmen.

Partisan ~ Your caution to him was already in a state of redundancy. Superfluous to the conclusion he'd already made. Late, too late, or "not too late" were no longer relevant. It was seg of you to even "go there." Would you care to borrow my dictionary? I don't need it for the meaning of brink.

I am reading through this thread totally baffled and come to the conclusion it must be some personal joke that I do not get from some other place and time. However in my time, seg was slange referring to a segregationist. Which wouldn't be used to refer to LC so :?:
