It doesn't look like anything was 'planned' beyond being suggested for a LC birthday get together...that I can see.
The Green Note cafe get together is for the October 20 Barbican / Glass concert.

Jimbo, you didn't ??!! Say you're joking, please.
Nothing to do with this thread, but at this very moment I am listening to Laurie, playing Anthem for Leonard's birthday on Alaskan radio. Great, Laurie! And very nice to hear your voice

Do you have money enough for transportation back home, Jimbo? Or, a hostel? Perhaps, a dishwashing job for a couple nights? I'm thinking "U.S." with that last suggestion. I'm sorry that you seem to be stranded.

Well, you've covered my question as to whether you were at an Internet cafe. I was going to suggest that you go to an all-night restaurant or the airport, where you could stay up all night without suspicion. Unfortunately, it's a Friday night, so people are already into their weekend plans... and likely don't even know your situation. I know from my experiencing London, places seem to be far [no matter your starting or ending point] and complex to get there... so the logistics of your getting somewhere... if someone even sees your plea and opts to go for it... will be difficult.
Honestly, Jimbo, if you have fare back for tomorrow, I'd get the the station or somewhere nearby and just be done with it... spend the night there and get a good night's sleep tomorrow night.
