How else can I explain to Lizzie how careless I was... it can't be my fault... so it must be the bleddy needle!!!!!!
You don't owe me any explanations, Jimmy. To your needle, on the other arm... I feel an apology may be in order.

Well, you know, those slams into the record players that send innocent needles screeching across the albums against their will... I don't think you're
ever going to get an apology from your needle

. At the next Album & Needle Convention, I can give you an almost diamond-level guarantee that your name is going to be broadcast loud and clear as an at-fault perpetrator. Sorry to be the one to deliver this news.

Laurie, you may be right about me whining... and I could have written something prosaic, but I reckoned that my frustration at discovering the... "needle and the damage done..." justified the use of "mindless vindictiveness of a needle..."
After all, "look what they done to my song, Ma" !!!!

No question of your sitting on the fence (or the stool) there Alan,
I'm bowled over, flushed with pride, it's a chain reaction.................

Sometimes, I need to wipe........................................the grin off my face.
Jimmy~ Okay. It works for me now. Justification always works.

Maybe Red Poppy and Alan Alda should be cast adrift... shackled together... on a sea of... spuns...
