. . . front row seat . . .
This is something I hadn't even considered... where the winners would sit. What a privilege and honour Anjani and Leonard have arranged for you folks who won 8) !!

Winners happened to be at the front - co-incidence not planned

:D I'm so happy for you, Simon, I can't stop smiling :D ~ your description is wonderful. Clearly, every single thing about the concert was, too... which Margaret is that? Was it Barry who won and took Margaret? Or Margaret who won and took Barry? Or did they win individually?
Barry is - Born with the Gift of the Golden G - no doubt his report will be on soon
amazingly live in the next road to me 180 miles away
That is TRULY amazing  !

One question:
but that was truly "awesome" (and not in the American sense)
What is the "American sense"? The only thing I can relate that to is "Shock and Awe" ~ is that what you're referring to?

Americans overuse and devalue awesome as a word - tiger woods hit an awesome shot your the man etc

This is just so wonderful for you, Simon... did you give Leonard a copy of your cd?

yes two copies and he said he'd listen to it

Ah!! Where do they go next? Who will we hear from next?? It's easy to imagine that Anjani sounds and looks even better in person. Amazing that she could be even more evocative, when she's so much that already 8) !

Anjani was surprisingly good, the album doesnt do her justice much better live

I know you're floating right now, Simon :D .

Thanks for all of your answers, Simon... had to ferret them out from the Quote box, where everything got corraled together. What a HUGE and fortuitous break for you!

Looking forward to Barry's report, as well :D . Oh. This is just so exciting. Our first-born of their promotional concerts where their winning fans got to attend 8) .

Yes... Now on to Norway... where I pray Geoffrey will be able to train down to Oslo to see them.

Yes, thanks Simon, and especially for sharing your excitement on here.

Paula - there seems to be some faint chance Leonard might be in Ireland in the summer...

That's a lovely picture of Leonard... there's another one where he appears to be lightly laughing at something that is very sweet.

Thanks, Simon and Lizzie 8) .
