Oh, Madison. I'm so sorry. I just went to your myspace to see if there might be a photo of you there, someone to watch for in the New York line outside of Joe's Pub. Seeing you half covered with cat, I was anxious to tell you how similar he looks to my Leo [a wander-up, Himalayan-looking guy, named after that famous poet-singer-songwriter]. I was going to talk about how sweet the background of your site looks with all those bright polka dots. But, then, I saw a message you had written about pets and animals and the mood said "Sad" ~ I read about your cat's kidney disease, and how he's wasting away, and it all came back. So, now, I'm feeling sad for you and your cat, and want to tell you, again, how sorry I am. I'll tell you another day about how sweet your site looks and how cathappy you look with yours curled across your chest and neck. I know that feeling and it's wonderful.

Love,
Lizzy

John: Anjani does not list the Toronto dates, so they are probably cancelled because of problems with the venue.

Good news, John: "[the Toronto gigs] are not cancelled, simply not listed yet"

Montreal Upstairs Jazz Club is not selling tickets yet, since the dates have not been confirmed by the artists. The Club will post the venues only at the end of March.

Hopefully the dates are still on.

Jarkko, do you know if Leonard and Anjani will be available for signing CDs, LPs, books and whatever after the concert? I remember going to meet with Donovan at Joes Pub in a large room after his performance, we talked and he signed many things for me. It was so much nicer than just walking out cold. Will Leonard and Anjani meet afterwards with those in attendance?

Thelma, we don't know! All the details remain open for the time being, and first they have to do the European tour.

Wow -- hoping this goes as stated -- I can certainly make the show in SF at Cafe Du Nord (a favorite venue of mine!) Leonard or no, I'd love to see Anjani. Just checked, and no advance tix are available yet.

So jealous of you who get to go to NYC show -- I just can't swing the $ at the moment. Now if Leonard himself was performing, I'd beg, borrow -- maybe not steal, but certainly charge it on a credit card....

Zoe: Hello,
I, too, have been checking Cafe du Nord's extended calendar... yet no notice of Anjani scheduled on May 11th.
I live close to the venue. Only too good to be true, if, in fact, 'tis true.

So 'cited. Just got tix for Cafe du Nord in San Francisco.
One glitch: The venue has her scheduled for May 10 NOT May 11. I brought it to their attention & they will check it out.
