Well, you've smoothed mine....from the courtroom to the battlefield. Does that count? Love your Navy reference  .

Dear Elizabeth, I'd like to think that we all count.
However, I've jumped ship and will remain within the sounds of Stalin and St Paul (playing as I type) as I Repent, Repent, and wonder what they meant? Love's the only engine of survival!
The blizzard of the world is now crossing the threshold as I type.
Too many people only pay lip service to lc's words I fear.
Lets face it, Charlie Manson's in charge of the White House!

Why I think that we all are (the whole planet) taken as hostages to one crazy man? If you get what I mean

Tom,

May I remind you of all the butchering that has been going on in your little neck of the woods. And if it were not for "intervention" you would still be at it. Perhaps democracy should come to Croatia? It wouldn't be a moment too soon.

Yeah, there's a Charlie Manson in charge all right. But he isn't in the White House. He's in Baghdad.

Saddam Hussein's favorite torture cells are those which have a network of pipes in the ceiling. These pipes are designed to drip nitric acid at different points and at different times. This erratic dripping causes the prisoner to move continually about the cell without rest to avoid being burned by the acid. Eventually the poor man (or woman) collapses from exhaustion and dies with horrible burns.

It isn't just the "future" that's murder, Baby.

Way to go eeey! You let those commie loving, pinko pacifists know what is really happening. You need tell them of tortures that Sadam is doing to Iraq people. What other tortures is he doing. Who is Charlie Manson. He sounds like a bad man. Why wait for UN to agree. Bush must attack now and we know you break eggs for an ommelett so it is sad for some Iraq people. I get angry when people stop me doing what I want to do. Bush must feel the same. He does not need other leaders because he has all the power he needs. Why are 3 big ships sailing around the indian ocean. The news says they are from Iraq and full of poisons and chemicals. The captains will not answer the radio from USA navy. It is very worrying!! I hope I can get to sleep now. Thanks to eeey.

June people like you worry me. You seem to be getting off on this conflict. We are talking people lives here. If you don't know who Charles Manson is you must live in a vacum.

No one on this board is advocating war as a form of entertainment. You appear to be doing just that. It is quite nicely isolated in Austraila thought the chances of anything dropping on your head are quite remote. So you can certainly sleep well in your bed.

now, really, Paula... do you honestly think you are in danger up there on your island? do you realy think GB supports US millitary operation for any other reason besides economy?

on to eeey (obviously an American):
could you please explain what makes you so superhuman as to have the right to decide who is dangeorus and who isn't?
you know, it's not only north korea who doesn't want to get rid of nuclear power... USA has power to distroy the world also!
i have trouble understanding how they made you so small minded as to think saddam is a real threat to american-way-of-life.
first of all: when he was killing his own people, it was with chemical weapon he bought from US! - that's a fact i collected from writtings of your fellow american, mr. Noam Chomsky.
second: america was looking for a reason to attack Irak from 90is! Irak and Iran are the only two of five biggest oil producers in the world that are not directly under american boot. you didn't start your bloody sport in 1999, when you planned to do so, because you were afraid of civil war in Saudi Arabia. i could go on and on like this, but i won't. it has nothing to do with LC. further readings can be found at http://www.zmag.org/, for everybody interested.

sleep well, and worry not, big brother is here to protect you from yourself, dear World,

Who called who a Charles Manson in this thread? I don't think eeey made the first call on who is dangerous, he is just reminding you of another very likely danger. And sounds to me like eeey is someone who knows what he is talking about also.

Who brought this on to this thread, what has this got to do with Phil Spector?

Are you people for real?
At least we will still be able to vote George Bush out of office if he is what you say he is, which I don't have enough evidence to believe. Off course I am an American, who by the way does not dare travel and spend money any where else in the world right now.
The jobless rate in this country is high, which means less tax dollars coming in to support pumping money into other countries. Which may be a good thing. We would not have to be dependant on oil in this country, we could very easily make our own fuel, our farmers are ready to do it.

He most likely is innocent by reason of insanity.

Jurica,
i think our best players are too old, too bald and too rich to care. but yeah....things probably would have been different if they cared about the Cup.
