I got my copy today from Amazon, ordered in New York. The package was sent from Germany. I don't do these things: my eldest son fixed it for me.
Now that I have "the book", I want to sit down and read it, like Tom Sakic suggested, 167 pages in 167 days (quoted on on of his posts).
What I also want to post is criticism/discussion of Leonard's writing.
Some reviews have stated that Leonard's current work is beyond critique.
I disagree: no writer, no matter how old or famous, is "beyond critique".
Says Andrew, not having read "the Book" yet!
Mind you, flicking through the pages (bloody difficult, since they're not the same size), I recognise so many from the Blackening Pages in the 4 years I've been a "Beautiful Loser".
That's all for now. It's getting late, and I have work tomorrow.
Andrew.

I ordered a copy from Chapters in Vancouver and the price there is $21.99, add $10 for shipping and it ... well you do the math.
I hope you were joking about the pages not being the same size, Andrew.

Has anyone in th UK got a copy yet fron the online Capters/Indigo ?
My (signed ) copy was despatched from Canada 24th April and hasn't yet arrived

The website quotes 4 - 8 weeks for delivery. It must be a very slow boat.

I ordered mine from Vancouver weeks ago, and it still hasn't arrived. And that's only a few hundred miles. My book seller said there was only one store that had any for sale, the rest not letting them go until May 20th. I don't know how many Chapters orders at one time, but being a big store, with lots of business they probably run out fast. I think the first batch ordered might be already gone!

Don't worry, Margaret, you'll get it!! No one in the postal service would hi-jack it.

... I don't think ...
