It's one of the greatest songs of the 20th century. You can't "ruin" it--it can only ruin you!

They put the manual in the box because they get perverse satisfaction from anticipating the frustration its impossible complexities will burdon onto the unsuspecting purchaser.

Hallelujah cover by Norwegian quartet.

Post by WiserGuy »

I couldn't find anything on this forum regarding a, to me, awsome Hallelujah cover by four young popular Norwegians.

I've included a rip from the popular TV show "Først og Sist" from NRK.

Espen Lind (formerly known as Sway) had a smash hit in Europe with "When Susannah Cries" in 1998
Askil Holm contributes with the soundtrack "Seven days in the sun" in the movie "Agent Cody Banks"
Kurt Nilsen won the first Norwegian "Idol" and also managed to win the first and only World Idol covering U2. One of the judges, I think it was the Australian had this to say after his performance: "You have the voice of an angel, but you look like a Hobbit. If this were Middle-earth Idol you'd walk it."
Alejandro Fuentes: 19 years old and made third place in Norwegian Idol 2005.

Welcome to the Forum, WiserGuy :D ~ Not only is that awesome cover here somewhere [in two, separate places, in fact], but it's also now on my desktop, as well as on a cd, thanks to a computer-wise co-worker. I've listened to it, perhaps, six or seven times in the past several hours... a couple of those times back-to-back.

Thanks for bringing it up, though. It's well worth bringing attention to it. I only wish I could direct you to where it's at here. That's someone else's 'department' , though.

That was a cruel comment to make on Kurt... going by the outcomes, it looks like he did 'walk' it on Upper Earth.

Can you describe who is who, so I can connect your comments with their faces? Thanks.

Thanks Lizzy!

Sorry, after searching again I found that this was old news.

But to clarify who is who: My previous post listed the singers in singing order.

The guys, who all are pop idols here in Norway, tours together with a "mini concert". Their version of Hallelujah is the far most popular on their concerts.

If you haven't done it already, I recommend that you download the rip linked in my previous post. The quality is probably better than your NRK stream rip.
