Later,

you slipped a post in just as I was replying to Michael. What I was saying was that it is too late to change the theme of the poem. There is still a few hours left to send your poem. I do believe you are taking the mickey!

Rest, at ease... Michael, I have your poem and you still have 2 hours and 20 minutes to go. Later... I've had your poem for awhile now, unless you're submitting a second one. However, my Inbox has been emptied to about half [actually 60% range] for over 3 hours now. Even prior to that final emptying out, it was in the 80s and 90s, but not at 100%. Even if it had been, whatever came in would have come in just fine, and pushed my furthest back PM off the bottom and into the ethos... hence, I went about copying and pasting them into Word... since I have a number I haven't been able to answer yet.

So... all's well here. Yes, anything time marked beyond 4:00 AM GMT will not be accepted. I would hope no one in the GMT zone is up until that time trying to get in their submission, though. It's not THAT important, guys... especially given all the time you've had to work on it  .

So, I'm too late to send in my 5,000 word 'Ode To The Joy of Jo-SA Innit.' ???
Deppie sends his wikd wishes, innit like. It'll have to wait 'til her broomstick has been in for its biennial service and she can pop over for the seasonal 'Thickets Gathering.'

Ode To The Joy Of Jo-SA;

Betwixt the heat and the veldt, did'st Joy wander forlorn
Alone and berefticated, lost with no 'ome
Alas to this day her heartstrings were pulled
Deppie had gone, back to his chums.
..........

Oh, what a shame you were too late. That was a real winner, Byron  ... as a poem, that is. Anything on behalf of our dear SA Jo is a true winner.

To Everyone ~

Thank you for your wonderful contributions. They were all on time. The last one was sent at 3:33 AM GMT. As I've said, some were lovely, touching, funny, and sad.

I'll be getting them to Laurie, forthwith... I simply couldn't stay up any longer. You have 16 poems to enjoy 8) . Good luck on the remainder of your role :D . I love not being the judge :D !

Now, my job is done done! Now, I can get to work work!

Love,
Lizzy :D

I visited India last oct. and Tony Blair came along with me. Looks like this weekend George W. is accompanying you on your trip.

Somehow I don't think he will be at the same places I am visiting! My tour is a mixture of culture, history and nature. I heard he has turned up in Afghanistan today. That is definitely not on my itinerary.

As long as she needs, I'd say, Michael. No one else came through for the role. She has her own deadline for travel, so she should be fine with the deadline for the Berlin booklet, as well.
