All you really need to know is "life sucks and then you die"

Here's two more verses sort of about life that i thought is cool...

What is today ?
It is everyday, my friend.
It is all life, my love
We love and we live
We live and we love
And we do not know what life is
And we do not know what day is
And we do not know what love is.

- Jacques Prevert (brought to me via Ute Lemper)

It's legs to walk and thoughts to fly
Eyes to laugh and lips to cry
A restless tongue to classify
All born to grow
And grown to die.

- Townes Van Zandt

Love is a fire
It burns everyone
It disfigures everyone
It is the world's excuse
for being ugly

Yeah, Townes Van Zandt!

If Leonard had been born a cowboy (or at least a Texan), he'd've been Townes. Probably would have lived a little longer, tho' --

It was either THHGTTG or Python quotes.

Either way, it's a question that requires deep thought :)

As long as we leave the mice alone.

I would like nothing better than to leave the mice well and truly alone, but the cat has other ideas. Personally, I think the dolphins had it right.

"Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much...the wheel, New York, wars, and so on, whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely the dolphins believed themselves to be more intelligent than man for precisely the same reasons."

...Since we're talking about Hitch Hiker's anyway...
Was anyone else baffled over the fate of the girl who's feet didn't touch the ground? I mean, she just disappeared, what's that about?

I thought Fenny (Fenchurch) appeared in So Long and Thanks For All The Fish
