Hi Linda,
I find, that on the internet, it's very easy to misread a post.
Yes, for example, you have taken both of my recent posts here a little more seriously than I intended because I obviously haven't got the hang of the emoticons yet (or did you  ?), not that I do not appreciate your replies :D .
In the end: Ya do what ya gotta do.
My philosophy on life in a nutshell.
All that winking will give you crow's feet, though.
Oh? I thought it only made you go blind  .

(Sorry Linda, I know you dislike crudity, but you did rather set me up for that one  .)

Hi Diane,

I think perhaps the misreading of your posts was in the fact that I'm not here very often, and don't know you as well as others.

Also, it's my personal opinion that emoticons (esp. an over abundance of them) tend to muddy the posts, and often attempt to conceal the real intent. So, if I misread your posts, it's because I took them at face value.
(Sorry Linda, I know you dislike crudity, but you did rather set me up for that one .)
Who said I disliked crudity? Where did that vicious rumour come from?? 8)

Regards,
Linda.

Yes, I know, I'm not making an accusation. It is interesting that we expect others to 'mind read' our tone in the written word, where often it is very difficult to ascertain, even with the help of emoticons.

Now it seems I am making false accusations  .

See you,

Diane
