Hleonard,

Thank you for your interesting (yet diminishing) post. You made several good points.

Linda, suppose that the posts was so indoctrinated, that they indoctrinated my response with indoctrinated ideologically -- secular or otherwise doctrines, that now I feel like a doctor of doctrines for poor Isaac. :o

Hleonard

Why have you edited your posts down to nothing but numbers...it's a little irritating to those of of us who are reading the thread for the first time.

It's also uncivil to those who have taken the interest and time to respond to you.

In your countdown, hleonard, you've managed to obliterate a poem that I enjoyed. Remember that something's being controversial is not necessarily 'bad' [per my own, "Wordsmith" advice  , shall I say "is not necessarily a negation"].

Hi Hal,

Welcome to the forum. In answer to your question: it's a long story. I'm trying to put the pieces together myself. Perhaps you'll have more luck than I.

A thousand apologies

Post by hleonard »

Dear hal and everyone,

I am terribly sorry, not to mention embarrassed, with regard to what happened to my entire post history. Unfortunately, I had mentioned my password to my (now ex) girlfriend who decided to take revenge on our recent break-up. I apologize for any irritation this might have caused. I have a new password now, so this shouldn't happen again.

Dear hleonard! Really, good heavens, why would your ex delete nice poem about Isaac? I would not say, that I enjoyed the poem as a poetry, but was stimulating to think about Abraham and Isaac and Jacob etc. Perhaps, with a bit too much sentiment or "feeling" for my taste, but I am no judge of poetry at all. Perhaps, I did not quite enjoy the hidden idea, that the child has been raped by "father" whom the child trusted. Perhaps I did not like very much the idea, that the "father"raped the child, because he was a priest. I would object to that idea, because he was a predator, pedophile, who happened to be a priest. However, on this forum happened to be so many good experts on poetry-you can trust them-give that Isaac poem back, please. 8)

Teratogen- don't you have anything new? You had some poems I really enjoyed reading, printed them out, anything in works? Why don't you write something about Isaac or, perhaps- Jacob?

Hleonard,

That your ex-girlfriend would delete this poem is almost unpardonable.
