I have a favourite quote about Tim Buckley. “Nothing in rock, folk-rock, or anything else prepares you for a Tim Buckley album, and it’s funny to hear his work described as blues, modified rock‘n’roll and raga rock when, in fact, there is no name yet for the places he and his voice can go.” Lillian Roxon, Rock Encyclopedia (1969)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZyclyc ... =FudgieMod
Sally goes round the roses is hardly an outstanding piece sung by Buckley. By his standards, anyway. Still, it was a great improvement on the Jaynettes original Sally some years earlier

Real Buckley lovers will rate way higher
1. Happy Time

2 Sorry that my Cohen links to Buckley are so tenuous but try Lorca
https://www.leonardcohenforum.com/posti ... eabe78c432
3. Here is a good piece about Jeff Buckley's relationship with his Dad. They met as often as once
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0fLYE8 ... TrebleClef
4. and an easy empath one that we should all sing in new romances or how about for a great break-up
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZ0f5_r ... ceOdyssee0
5. Here's am easy pop one "I never asked to be your mountain"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4n3jgpB ... kley-Topic
Sally will enjoy all of these once she is back from Norway
I watched and listened to all these clips and found that
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tME1oi6yFbc
is more enthralling than both versions of
Sally listed above.
Regarding the Jaynettes video(s) my facial recognition technology (beta version) noticed Barbra Feldon (Agent 99 from Get Smart) appeared at the 1:00 mark. This song could have been improved by the
Cone of Silence.
I must confess that from the samples of Tim Buckley offered, I was left totally whelmed.
Sally in other cultures means other things, e.g.

Why am I posting here? There is no reason.

It was really nice of you to have followed the links, thank you
Similarly, the open-hearted generosity of LIsa in helping Sally to understand the magazines dynamic was admirable.
I much admire this humanity, particularly as I am not in the greatest "nick" at the moment. Yesterday I had hallucinations and my main complaint is that they were so dull. I deserve better than dancing box shapes and skinny hanging threads from a train station ceiling. None of these items existed except in my overwhelmingly overworked mind. I think I am suffering from "life" and long may it continue. The health phoneline last night and this morning politely diagnosed me and I will follow some of their advice
that is my update, yes, and here's to the few who forgive what I do And the vastish majority who don't even care
and the night came on at 1 in the morning, and here I am after 11 the next day and this one looks better. Actually, it was so sad and disappointing as the phone physician offered me 40 ailments, side-effects, and I gave him 38 "no's" in response, well everybody no's and the guy sounded so tired I resisted the instinct to shout Trump when he asked if I felt I was dangerous to anyone and was imagining harming that person.

Ha-ha! (Don't let Sally read that -- she'll call the "no politics" police on you!)
Losing one's mind can be a bit of a nuisance -- I happen to have some experience with that. Hope you're feeling better soon!
Incidentally, does your previous subject line have salacious connotations?

time may pass, yet I still love you all, except those I really don't as they are self-basting and have no humbility, and I am confident I could beat you all in an arm-wrestle which is the Classic way they made Laws in Ancient Athenia, many moths before I was even birthed.
