Dear Joe~

Thanks. It has been the best (surprise) non-birthday day i have ever had. Although, initially it did give me a bit of a headache.... 8)

Laurie,

you now have something in common with the Queen of England, a real birthday and an official one!

Congratulations!

Hi Margaret~

Thanks. 8)

Could you explain this briefly?
Your Queen has 2 birthdays?

regards,
Laurie

Hi Laurie,

And to think you have C2 to thank for this love-fest. If I were you, I'd try to find a way to express to him my deepest gratitude.

Linda.

She has her real birthday in November I think and another one in the summer so we can all celebrate (or not).

It is all to do with pagentry and tourists I think. Or I could be looking through a jaundiced eye!

Yeah, this goes without saying. I believe gratitude is a reciprocal event that deserves to be paid in the same currency it was delivered.

Thanks for the info Paula!

Seems a bit greedy. But she IS the Queen 8)

Hope one of them (birthdays) is at least a national holiday so the 'subjects' can have some time off to celebrate her special day(s)

The Non-Birthdays are the funnest ones
...calling those who let you know
you're really loved.

So, enjoy this day as yesterday
And every day a wish arrives

A day needs not be set aside
for sharing our feelings true,
when any day works just as well
for saying we think
highly of you.

No time to make it a 'real' poem ~ just the thought that counts  .

Happy Non-Boithday, Laurie.

Love,
Elizabeth

Thanks Lizz~

A rare poem even!! :D

Like the drama queen in my sonnet, I do loathe my birthday...but a non-birthdayday is not nearly as bad 8)

cheers,
L

Oh, you're welcome, Laurie  .
"for sharing our feelings true,"
For a minute there, I thought I might be channeling George  ~ or the old, childhood ditty, "Daisy, Daisy / Give me your answer true / I'm half crazy / All for the love of you / It won't be a stylish marriage / I can't afford a carriage / But you'll look sweet / Upon the seat / Of a bicycle built for two."

And, as Paula would say, Boom Boom  .

Basil Brush, Lizzie, that was his catchphase.

Truly an icon of our time and now the Goverment have spared him and his mates from being ripped to shreds by packs of hounds.

Laurie, might I ask of you just one little thing? Regarding all the celebration concerning this b'day of yours, 'O love, aren't you tired yet?' I'd seriously start thinking about offering my heartfelt thanks to Mikeeeee.

Regards,
Linda.
