Great. I'm pleased for you. But have you any sensible comment to make on the actual content of the thread?

No. It's not a sensible thread to begin with... so, why would I?

You have the Smiths - how about Smith? She's completely kick ass.

In your opinion Lizzy.

It certainly seemed to be the most sensible one to give, Zimmy ;-)
Could even go so far as to say logical :)

The bit I'm struggling to undestand Lizzy is if you have no interest in the thread ("it's not a sensible thread to begin with"), why comment at all? And in CAPITAL LETTERS. There are many threads on the Forum that I read, assimilate, consider and then move on. Don't feel the need to comment, as I find them of no interest or indeed at times frivolous to the extreme.

As I say, just at a loss as to why you would comment on a thread with the sole purpose of spoling it, and inciting others to follow. ("You have the Smiths - how about Smith? She's completely kick ass.")

I'll end this correspondence here, as I find it tiresome - and the thread has lost it's momentum.

Hendrix?
Premier League?

There is, indeed, isn't there, Vicomte :) .

Guess I could have been more specific, Zimmy.
In support of Helen:
LOVE Rembrandt.
LOVED Holland!

I didn't realize that you and Rodin were in cohorts to play a fun game, Zimmy.
Not sure how I missed that.

If he's there, then there must be a place for David Gilmour.

Still say Zappa deserves better. Intricate arrangements, virtuoso guitar playing and very clever lyrics. And before anyone starts, no need to quote "Yellow Snow" ;-)

Oh, maybe not... it may have come down to having my own opinion on such base matters and feeling compelled to Share it ;-)
How dare you! I do not know/collude or otherwise engage with Rodin. I take a balanced view of all posts, and make up my own mind.

Ahhhh... well, sorry, Zimmy.
Can't take back what wasn't intended for you in the first place.
With its being a take-off on "Keeping up with the Joneses," I pluralized it.
I'll end this correspondence here, as I find it tiresome - and the thread has lost it's momentum.
Didn't realize it had momentum.
But, your approval of when it apparently did, makes you a de facto cohort in the fun space.
You just wouldn't believe how many threads I take the same approach to as you described... read and move on.
However, there was just something so SPECIAL about this one ;-) ... I couldn't resist.

This just makes no sense whatsoever Lizzy. Just a lost, rambling, collection of words. If you really want to contribute positively to this thread, why not make some suggestions of your own?

Robert oh Robert....

Do these quite recent words remind you of someone?
Come on guys, can we get back to thread topic
It can happen to the best of us.
