Lisa it was great to read your report. I am sorry I missed you this time around. I wish I had been there and thank you for your descriptive story!
It really sounds like you were all in for a treat.
Love hearing about it from everyone but especially thrilled for you in your hometown. That is how I felt in Vancouver! but Edmonton I think
was really something else..

Thanks, Leslie, it certainly was a very special night. I am still on a high from it, and probably will be for some time!

And as for you, st. theresa:

It is kind of amusing to listen to young(er) reviewers try to understand what draws baby boomers to his performances-... I have my own opinions about what draws us, but I wouldn't attempt to communicate them to that generation. Sorry kids you have to be 55+ to get it.

55+? Well, that certainly rules me out... Pity, because I was under the impression that I got it.

I had my nose out of joint after reading Mike Bell's post in the Calgary Herald--and the thought of middle age sex--(who is he kidding--a baby
boomer who goes to one of Leonard's shows that last till midnight isn't likely going home for anything but their own soft snug bed)

Thanks for the honourary baby-boomer title, I appreciate the sentiment. However, if it is all the same, I would much rather just think of myself as an enlightened Generation X-er!

Regardless, what a fantastic night it was! I will never forget Leonard coming out for the final encore (about 11:45 pm), looking out at the cheering crowd, glancing at his watch, and then shaking his head, with that big smile on his face!
