Good, and yet unfair. The best poets amongst us would give a kidney in exchange for such a line, and yet such gems drip from these lips without the slightest effort.

Ok, so we established this voodoo doll didn't have to look like him, but what i want to know is what had he done to make her want to turn him into a pincushion in the first place? After all we women are never usually that vicious!
Oh, but I beg to differ, Miss Karren. There have been many instances of women attacking unfaithful mens' reproductive organs, one of the most famous being the 'Bobbitt' case of some years ago. History tells us that a woman intent on harming either a man's meat thermometer or his nut-sack is a woman who's slimy sluice has been used as a sperm bank. Revenge is the chauffeur of savagery.
.. this [bronzed] line is also quite good, G., as is your take on this whole matter, I think. [Leonard just didn't realize that the doll didn't have to look like him to have him hurt in those particular places].. [well, now he knows, at least].. [actually, I have some scary anecdotes on all that voodoo stuff I'll share a bit later, once I'm back from Gotham]
[oh, lest I forget.. the obligatory kisses, for kissy k.. xx] [I hope you're doing well today, Karren].. [hang in there]

Hi V. I think slimy sluice also deserves your consideration as it sounds offensive to the ear - gives you a cringe feeling, has that great sl sl sound (as offensive as it is you kinda whana say it) and is somewhat original (I think).
Karren B wrote:Did you two know that voodoo dolls are more often used for good rather than evil. Most Voodoo practitioners do not use pins in Voodoo dolls, and when pins are used, they are used as focusing tools for healing and other positive purposes. Voodo is not a form of the black arts (unless on a film set), it is a recognised religion with over 60 million followers world wide
...
Karren I thought that was very interesting - not that different than the perception of some western pagan beliefs and practices.

I had thought of places as being physical, geographical locations - maybe bowling alleys or stairways or ski slopes

he was hardly going to act for himself, be realistic. lawyers are ridiculed by you and so would you prefer Lynch to have gotten away with her dishonesty?

even though leonard does climb some stairs when it's bedtime, he does not engage in any kind of physical sports, and would therefore not frequent such places as bowling alleys or ski slopes. he has not ever watched a football match or the olympics on the television, even. his interests are more academical. i don't believe he has a coin collection, trays of pinned butterflies, a stamp album or box of blown birds' eggs either, because he doesn't have any hobbies like that. also, he has never held a cricket bat, eaten a bacon sandwich, put ketchup on his food or worn denim jeans. he likes painting and sketching, reading, composing poetry and songs, cooking, playing and listening to music, drinking wine and seducing women.
