Arlene, Mary B - my comment wa not meant to be a barb ....just my personal chuckle about the obsessive passion many of us share about Leonard. And yes, belonging to this Forum gives us a welcome platform to enjoy this experience ! Not more intended!

Wow what an interesting story. Well spotted Bridger. What a pity to have lost it.

Here is a view of the missing bracelet, from one of the out-takes from the photos I made of Mr. Cohen in Vancouver 20 October 1978. The words "Lyon Cohen" and "Montreal" are clearly visible. (I made 28 negatives that day. The last is the one used for the cover of the Sylvie Simmons biography. These bracelet pics are from frame 27.)Image

Was the cigarette holder his father's too? I only ask because those particular accoutrements seem more redolent of the swinging 20s than the swinging 60s - though they probably enjoyed something of a renaissance in the second wave.

Don't know about the cig holder, but he's wearing his father's suit in these photos.

That is so nostalgic. My perception of his father, in the photos I've seen, is that he had more heft than LC, yet LC fills out this suit quit nicely :D

If LC is wearing his father's bracelet and suit, wouldn't it be wonderful if the cigarette holder was also his father's?

Thank you mr Boswell for this info!

Best Regards,
Mary
