The best thing about RFH is that they do 50% off concessions.John Etherington wrote:Bean - Totally agree. The Royal Festival Hall is a perfect venue, with excellent sound and a fair ticketing system (also set in a great enviroment). Plenty of restaurants and Travel Lodge nearby too. Brian Wilson has played there 28 times in the past decade, and calls it his spiritual home. Leonard ticket prices would presumably be higher there, but it would be well worth it.

[quote="margaret"]A few nights in a row at Manchester Opera house would be wonderful, and keep travelling and costs down for the band and crew, while allowing lots of people a more intimate concert.
Yes don't forget there are places other than London!!

He might know it better under the name 'Lowonidonjon' or 'Londinium'. He is, after all, quite old.bean wrote:^ I think that Leonard has forgotten that there is such a place as London
Re: UK CONCERTS
And he paid a fleeting visit only a few weeks ago promoting Old Ideas - let's hope his memory isn't that short!!

I'm a newby to this forum but a very very old fan. Pleaseplease include a uk concert, it's crazy that we aren't in there. I went to two of his concerts last time and eager to hear Old Ideas live. Don't understand leaving us out at all.

Re: UK CONCERTS
Really prefer, as others have said, for it NOT to be outdoors, but better outdoors than not at all!

Re: UK CONCERTS
psmannie - on the positive side, UKers may have time to save money, have something to look forward to, and will get to hear any new songs that are added to the tour (since the U.K. was ignored in 2010 too, we never got to hear "Born in Chains", "The Darkness or "Feels So Good"). However, if we want any element of surprise we had better avoid most of the Forum until then!
Re: UK CONCERTS
Wonder when we'll finally hear something?

Re: UK CONCERTS
I'm not expecting anything much this year, now. However, when Leonard has completed his open-air tour during this Year of the Rain Dragon, he may feel like doing more indoor shows in the U.K!
