Thanks for that - I appreciate it. This would be a dull place if everyone agreed with everyone else all the time, although the sports advice of "going for the ball and not the player" is worth remembering here too. (Except in retaliation?!)

Many and varied are the approaches taken here, as a glance at the list of topics will show. Like most people I pick and choose my favourite threads and keep away from those that don't appeal to me - to each his or her own. Nobody is waiting for my permission or yours to respond to LC's music in any particular way!

Should have called this thread "Just listening and Loving", as that is what I am doing! Certainly didn't mean to dictate to others how they should respond - to each his or her own, as I said. But I find something new to love each time I listen to it. In fact I no longer care which sounds are "real" and which are computerised on this album - I just love the sound of it!

I quite agree with you Ann. This album is quite simply done and each time I listen to each song and hear the intonation of his words it has such an intimate feel about it. I am not crazy about Banjo right now, but the rest of the songs are really special.

Interesting, Cheshire gal - I like Banjo, which sounds great, I think. In fact I enjoy them all except "Anyhow". Now if that had been replaced by "Feels so good", or any other number with the full band, (a pity to have just one of them) it would have been the perfect album - for me!
