There is an old saying in Ireland with which you're probably familiar, Gwen, "There's good goods in small parcels". Yes indeed! :D

I'm really enjoying this thread as it gives me the opportunity to post my favourite picture again! It was taken two years ago in San Jose. I'm 5' 7" and as you can see we are perfectly matched (at least in my secret life! ).

I do not know Leonard's height nor have I ever met him. I myself am 5'9" but I have no doubt if ever did meet him I would shoot up to 6 ft.

It is wonderful to see all these photos of very happy people! I envy you all...

Perhaps the next lucky person who meets Leonard can simply ask him, "By the way, Mr. Cohen, how tall are you? We on the forum are very curious about such matters!" (Perhaps he'll toss in his weight as a added bonus!) ;-)

I agree. I'm 5'6" like Gwen and he seems to be about 1 inch taller.

I'm 5'6", am wearing 2" heels. George is 5'11 1/2" and is wearing the same height shoes as LC. LC is hatless here, but it might be hard to get a good sense of actual height because of George's hair 8)

Well case closed as you and Leonard look the same height here and your height and heels equals 5' 8"!!! In work the other day I spotted a measuring tape so decided to check my height to see have I shrunk which I haven't. I got some amused looks when people saw what I was doing

I'm just a smidge over 5'7". Based on this pic, I'd guess we're about the same height.

Not quite Gwen. I tease my hair a bit   (this was not too high), so I'm thinking he's about an inch taller than that 5'8". Does it look like it to you also? Anyway, it felt like he was sooooo much taller when I was next to him ;-) :D

Edit - I also have a pretty flat head on top

Ok, so after all the guessing and comparing heights, here's mr Cohen's answer (albeit from 1973 :) ):
I'm thirty-eight years of age, five feet eight inches tall, a hundred and thirty-five pounds, brown hair, hazel eyes. I live in Montreal. It is the summer of 1973.
Quote from Ira Nadel's Various Positions, page 193. The text is from "a candid unpublished autobiographical account".
